That's right, we are expecting 3 inches of snow in the morning and the whole area is closing down.

Schools, courthouses, businesses, everything.

I guess that's because last time we had snow down here in the south was roughly 18 years ago.

Wheres this at? I know Washington Dc had a snow storm yesterday i think. Well anyways down here it only snows 1 day a year if we get lucky. It snowed last december and we had school it was pretty cool to be there with your friends with all that snow fight and what not. People pulled the fire alarm on purpose to head outside.

Lol, same. If it rains with below 32 degree weather predictions (I guess the technical term would be snow. =x) we ALWAYS gets out early or just don't go.

Haven't seen the ground covered in snow in 10 years.

The southern places all shut down because they don't have large supplies of road salt ready like we do here up north, lol. Their pussies when it comes to snow. Then again, here in Ohio, it's way too hot if it's 90 degrees, so I'm sure 90 feels good down there.

In Hamilton, 3 inches is nothing. Granted this year I doubt we've even had a cm let alone an inch. But anyways, in Hamilton in the past we've had some major snow storms and like malls and what not will close, but it has to be really really bad. The schools though only close once a school year for snow. Its the Hamilton School Board policy. Only one snow day a year, so like we had one snow storm that wasn't too bad, and schools closed, but everything else stayed open. About a month later we had a worse snow storm. Malls closed, buses including the school buses were shut down it was brutal, but schools stayed open. From what I understand almost no one teachers and students showed up, but they stayed open.

However in the next city over, Burlington, the schools close everytime Snow falls. Its pretty pethetic and sadly it shows. Kids in Burlington are really really dumb.

Yeah, of the 18 inches we got probably about an inch or two melted... it's been really cold out though so everything that melted just turned to ice.
