Hell after Monday when they had Sami beat Rollins I was convinced they were going to pull the rug out from everyone and have Sami win! I thought they've been laying seeds of an underdog story for a while and why would they have a specific match that had Sami fight for his spot if he was just going to lose and Owens Vs Sami is a story waiting to be told AND how amazing are their matches? I was convinced they were going to do it and I stil secretly hope somehow they change their minds.

Its just fucking irritating in a Rumble that was so unpredictable and you don't know who could win and a prime spot for a star to be made they go with Randy Fucking Orton.

Wrestling Observer is very often wrong. They have already changed their predictions several times and I am sure they will continue to do so. When you predict about 100 different possibilities, you're likely to eventually have some right.

And yes, they often are right too. But I've been following them since the late 1980's and they are very often wrong and very often continuously change their predictions as they go along. My advice is usually don't believe anything until you see it.
They can be wrong yes but it does make the most sense, why else would Goldberg be booked for Fastlane? Randy is one of their go to "safe bets" as well so its worringly plausible.

Oh I agree that it is plausible and could happen, I just said don't take it as fact until it happens. WWE has also been writing a lot on a weekly basis lately, constantly changing things. I honestly do not believe that their WrestleMania plans are completely set in stone. I think they are probably playing around with several scenarios and there are likely several options for WrestleMania. I think the crowd reactions on the Rumble will have a huge impact on how plans go. We'll see.

Yeah I don't think it's true. Brock and Goldberg don't need the belt to have a match. And I don't see taker randomly deciding to cost reigns the belt. KO seems like he will lose to reigns tonight as well. Doesn't make sense. And, although I'd love to see Wyatt win the title, why now? I mean they all have all this talent and WWE is finall deciding to pull the trigger on Wyatt and have randy face him last minute? Makes no sense. They could done this a long time ago. I think AJ goes in as champ most likely.

They are definitely constantly changing plans, they originally want Cena Vs Undertaker for the belt and I think Owens VS Jericho for the belt at one point too. Crowd reactions at the Rumble can be entirely too late however, if they reject Randy at the end of the Rumble its already said and done, there is no Daniel Bryan underdog option for Smackdown this year so if they pull that trigger its Orton in the main event and I know people love Randy but my god he can be one of the most boring people on the roster a lot of the time its absurd how boring he can be. I don't need another Orton main event honestly, it was rejected 3 years ago why are we trying it again?

Reigns Vs Owens was given a last minute No DQ stipulation which basically screams fuck finish so its entirely possible Owens retains somehow.

Brock and Goldberg don't need the belt but that doesn't mean they wont get the belt.

Wyatt and Orton have been building for a while and WWE like to play things safe and Randy Orton is safe, Orton as champion is an entirely safe and bland bet in the same way John Cena used to be so it makes sense.

It's funny how we don't often agree on much but I am 100% in agreement with you about Orton. He has always been, in my opinion, the most unbelievably boring main eventer they've had in a LONG time. Although he can occasionally be interesting, most of the time he's just blah.

Thanks for that original spoiler on my thread. Really appreciated that.

This is why I keep away from those specific websites and news shit, I don't want to know. I don't want to have a clue as to who wins or loses.

When you're in total agreement with someone its boring unless there is a mutual major complaint. Disagreeing with someone adds a bit of fire to discussions.

I think most of my dislike stems from his run with the authority when I was infactuated with Bryan (Still am), Orton was so bland and I had major expectations for the authority angle and when Daniel Bryan is the fresh new interesting thing it makes no sense why they wouldn't put him in that spot. The things Vince does boggles my mind and I don't want to be one of those people that thinks when Triple H and Steph take over we'll have no issues but that will never happen again when Vince retires. Vince is just too old school for the current WWE, he can't book small guys and wont book small guys in main event positions permanently. They gave Daniel Bryan that title win knowing Brock would squash him 4 months later and put Reigns over as the new face of the company, its the sad truth.

Its not happened so its not a spoiler, if you're avoiding that stuff you're in the wrong place.

I just don't see them pushing AJ so hard just to have him fall to Wyatt of all people before mania. Orrin vs Wyatt will most likely happen without the belt.

Goldberg vs Brock needs no belt.

And I think Roman vs KO added that because Jericho will try to get involved and Seth Rollins will help reigns even the odds. Hell, triple h may even show up and Rollins kicks everyone asses while reigns winsz

I wouldn't worry about it too much because it's just speculation. In my own opinion, I don't think any of that is going to happen, but we'll see.

But yeah, we'll stress that possible spoilers should be hidden.

Not necessarily in the wrong place.

I started this thread just expressing my excitement to see the rumble. It wasn't meant to be a spoiler, or sorry an "I read this online so this is probably what will happen" thread.

You posted that in the wrong place, I am in the right place.

I think that was my problem with Orton too. I mean, I wasn't the biggest Bryan fan when he had that feud with Orton. But that feud made me a fan of his. But Orton just was so blah and I never understood why he was liked there.

He can sometimes be interesting as a face, but when he's a heel, especially with the Authority, that was painful and blah.
