Albert won the IC title from Kane on the June 28th 2001 episode of Smackdown. He lost the title to Lance Storm on the July 23rd 2001 Raw.

Ken Shamrock

Ken Shamrock won the vacant IC title in a tournament final by defeating X-Pac on the October 12th 1998 Raw. He lost the title to Val Venis on February 14th 1999 at In Your House: St. Valentine’s Day Massacre with Billy Gunn as the special Referee.

Albert did nothing with the title and went nowhere after holding it. Shamrock won it on his rise up the WWE ranks and did more as champion.
