Sooo... The premiere episode of 205 Live was good. I enjoyed it.

- First off, I liked the entire CW division being brought to the stage for an introduction. That was a good idea, since not everyone watched the CWC. I also liked Aries teasing going after the CW title when healthy.

- The Bollywood Boyz vs Drew Gulak & Tony Nese was a solid show opener. ★★½
Liked the video package they put together for the Bollywood Boyz. I liked 'em in CWC and for their brief stint in NXT, so obviously I am looking forward to seeing more of them on 205 Live. Now, the match itself was solid, but could've been a bit more smoother and energetic since it was supposed to set the tone for the series. Anyways, The Bollywood Boyz won their debut match with stereo Superkicks. Post-match, Gulak and Nese blamed a lumpy ring and greasy ropes for their loss. LOL

- There was a video package for Noam Dar.

- The Brian Kendrick/TJ Perkins stuff was fine.

- They aired a video package for Gran Metalik. I am so hyped for him on the show.

- Jack Gallagher vs Ariya Daivari was solid given the time constraint. ★★½
I absolutely love Jack Gallagher, I could watch him wrestle all day. He is different. The dude does comedy wrestling and he is just thoroughly entertaining, while Ariya Daivari is a solid hand. They worked a fun 5 minute match where the goal was to show off The Extraordinary Gentleman's offense. Gallagher won with a Running Dropkick in the corner.

- They aired video packages for Lince Dorado and Rich Swann. WWE is really good with video packages and every single one throughout the show was good. Swann's video package was the best by far, by the way.

- Rich Swann vs The Brian Kendrick was a very good ME. ★★★¾
Even though the crowd wasn't there early, Swann and Kendrick worked a really good match and made them care by the end of it. That homestretch and finish was so good! And holy crap, the title changed hands! I did not see that coming, I was totally expecting Kendrick to retain via some shenanigans, but that wasn't the case. It was actually a pretty nice surprise. Swann has been shining since arriving and he totally deserves the CW title.

Do you think the format is good enough for them to actually keep it around for some time? The cruiserweight division was a good idea and I think this has more of an impact as far as improving Network ratings and the WWE Universe as a whole as opposed to Superstars and Main Event that imo were just complete wastes of an hour. (I get superstars was just the dark matches with a couple RAW matches thrown in)

Yeah, I think this show is long-term and will provide a platform for the Cruiserweights to shine on... Which, at the same time, is flabbergasting considering RAW is a 3 hour show, yet the Cruiserweights get very little air time there.

Anyways, I'm a fan of 205 Live and I look forward to seeing more of it.

I'm thinking they shod have copied WCW and had the Cruiserweights open RAW with perhaps 2 matches in the 1st hour.

This week's episode was good.

Dar vs Alexander was a rock solid show opener, Daivari vs Gallagher was solid and Swann vs Kendrick was a good ME.

The dead crowd concerns me.. I don't agree with them following the likes of SD's main eventers.. The matches have been pretty well executed and the story telling aint half bad for what little they've had to work with so far.. but the one thing that I noticed entirely after the first couple of weeks was the crowd.

So I was thinking a little bit about this and honestly I think for 205's first "big splash" I would have Austin Aries come off of announcing and start a little feud himself w/ Swann after & TBK are fully done and end up holding the Cruiserweight title for a nice little run before doing RAW or SD.. Honestly it could give 205 Live a nice little viewership buzz around it for awhile if they did something like that.

I'd dig that. Aries actually teased entering the CW division once he's healthy on the very first episode of 205 Live.

Totally how I see them getting a huge viewership buzz.. give the program a few weeks to get established so people know what it's about and then WHAM! Austin mofuggin Aries fully healed up comes back and turns it into some even more top notch CW wrestling.

Good show this week. Jack Gallagher is going to be a very nice presence in this CW division. I'm not entirely sure what happened in the Mustafa Ali vs Lince Dorado match but it wasn't terrible for two cheesy debuts, just didn't really understand the need for it though. The main even though.. TJP and Swann can surely put on a show, these guys are great assets to the Cruiserweight division, The Brian Kendrick on commentary made it 10X better too.

STRONG 7 out of 10 if we were to rate these as well.. Hoping they keep it up and utilize the in between matches a little better to make for a better show but overall I'm not terribly upset with how 205 Live has been so far.

As the tile says. I watched the 3rd episode last night and finally got to see Lince Dorado which was the match of the night IMHO.

Starting to like a few of the others as well like Mustafa Ali and the gentleman British guy gimmick.

Yo, did anyone else hear that guy yell "This is how Rocky 2 ended!" when the ref was counting to 10 during that Ali/Dorado match? I LOL'd.

This week's episode was solid I give it a 8 out of 10. Daivari vs Dorado kicked the show off with some high flying action by the Golden Lynx. The crowd was a little more behind this episode which made it that much more exciting. Alexander vs Gulak had all the forms of a great match, one thing that killed the vibe with this one though.. Alicia Fox.. unnecessary presence for Cedric.. both of these guys are highly talented and this match shows exactly how valuable they are to the CW division..

This all brings us to the main event.. this one was good.. very good. Enough to overshadow this week's RAW itself by far.. let alone this whole 205 Live episode overshadowed RAW for sure.. (even SD Live IMHO). Neville & The Brian Kendrick vs Rich Swann & TJ Perkins... 4 talented guys here, TJP is the weak point just because he seems to have a lack of charisma these day but doesn't take much away from the entertainment value of this one. Heel Neville Is still a success and is shaping up to be a shining spot of his WWE career.

Still think Trips should have a bit more control in this but hey, this one if it was Vince's was done very well.
