2020 WS Fantasy Baseball Discussion Thread

H2H points is obviously whoever has the most points between both opponents is the victor. H2H category, like Chris says, is whoever's winning in most of the stats.

I'm heading toward doing a H2H points format since a few of us are familiar with it and it's easier to understand.

Since baseball season starts March 26 (I've made the mistake of mentioning it to be approximately two months), I plan on having the draft Saturday March, 14 at 7:00 CT, but we can discuss together a different time and date that would be perfect for everyone to do the draft.

Also, this will be a live draft and I expect most of you guys, and even girls, to be there.

I may want to start out with having 8 people in the league. If more people want to join, I can bump it up to 10 and we'll have ourselves a more competitive league.

I'm debating on where we want to have it where there's nine starting pitching positions, for both starting pitchers and relief pitchers, or separate both positions and discuss from there.

If there's any questions you want to ask, feel free to do so. I'm happy to hear from you y'all.

I plan having the signups this weekend now that the league's created. Once again, it's ESPN since you can download the ESPN Fantasy app to do live and mock drafts.

Speaking of mock drafts, I suggest y'all to do mock drafts, so you can practice drafting and to be familiar how the draft would go, depending which spot you pick. Yes it will be frustrating if someone's not there to draft. It happens pretty much 100%. But for those who are new to this, it's good practice.

Been doing ESPN fantasy for years, I love how it's done. So much fun. I hate people who don't show up, yet, they were just online 5 seconds before to sign up. It happens every damn time. I think they need to change the basis of it to you automatically have the lowest ranked guy picked for you. There are so many times you can draft, if you know you wont be at the one you just signed up for, fuck off and do another one where you will be present. Last weekend, I did my baseball draft and the first asshole got Trout, and he didn't even show up, even though he was just online signing up and changing his team name. It was bullshit. I do like how they change it to auto draft after the first choice, but, still, those clowns who don't show up end up being the ones who get to pick before the people who actually show up, and they get all the good players, even though their asses bailed.

It makes the draft lame when people do tend to show up at the last second and pick the top player. I'm positive we don't have people like that if they'll willing to play the game right.

I don't mind people auto drafting if they can't make it but it would be nice if they'd set queues at least for the first few rounds
