Its pretty wide open this year. I expect 12YAS and Gravity to get the most nominations, with maybe Slave to win the most, and Gravity to win more on the techinical awards. American Hustle will get lots of nominations but I don't see many if any wins. The actor catagories look the closest with only Blancett looking a dead cert to win.

No you've got this wrong, those weren't the official nominations I put up just my predictions for the nominations which are announced on Thursday. Interesting that you think Scorsese/The Wolf of Wall Street will do so well. I see it as a bit of a dark horse. It has enough behind it due to subject matter, director/stars to be up there, but I only see it picking up a couple of the lesser awards.

Chris you kill joy! You could just do the main catagories.

Have replaced Gatsby with Prisoners in best film noms.

And having seen the available list for Foreign have noticed that France have not put forward BITWC for consideration (the fools!), and Lore is not in the shake up either, so have made the two changes highlighted. I now make Great Beauty the favourite should it get nominated.

Sad Her and Lone Survivor didn't make anything. Annoys me that if anything wants to get nominated it needs to be released October-November not an official rule but Nothing in live action category was before October.

Don't think the official list changes any of my picks if it does I find it irrelevant as they are wrong.
