Really glad to see Beasts of the Southern Wild get so many nominations, that confirms my thoughts that it was one of if not the best movie of the year. A lot of these are pretty wide open, so there could be some surprises on Oscar night for sure.

Also for Score, Cinematography, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing. I'd like to think it has at least an outside shot for cinematography, it was really well shot. The problem there is that Life of Pi should be the front runner, and I feel it will be hard to beat.

Just realised The Hobbit has been practically ignored. Only three nominations compared to it's predecessor's success.
