I'm hoping The Black Keys win something. Their album is incredible. Looking forward to their performance. I think The Lumineers should win Best New Artist. I don't generally listen to that sort of music, but I actually enjoy their music.

I've listened to very little of these, but out of the choices, I think I'd like to see "Somebody That I Used To Know" win RotY, Babel is the only album I've listened to that's nominated other than a couple from El Camino and Some Nights. For SotY, I guess I'd settle for "We Are Young", but those choices are very lackluster. Don't care about best new artists as long as Hunter Hayes doesn't win it because he's fucking terrible and a disgrace to country music.

The Black Keys should win everything they are nominated for, They're amazing.... Glad to see Mumford and Sons getting recognized for a terrific follow up to an outstanding debut album.... I'd give best new artist to The Lumineers but that's just more my cup of tea than any of the others..... Do we do a prediction thread for Award shows?? not sure how many would participate but I would..

Good to see Gotye up for another award, I hope that he can take Record of the Year because I think it is a fantastic song. Slightly surprised that it wasn't nominated for Song of the year as well since it is well written. If Call Me Maybe wins Song of the Year I suggest we form a riot and destroy the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. How that is even nominated for the best piece of song writing for the year I do not know. I think that We Are Young will win SOTY. Album of the year I am going to assume that Mumford and Suns win although they could go out of left field and give it to Jack White. Best New Artist seems to be in the bag for fun.

anybody watch any of this.... I saw a few of the things I wanted to see as I flipped back and forth... Saw Mumford and Sons perform (great as usual), it was cool to see the Lumineers perform while introducing Jack White, both were great, the tribute to Levon Helm w/ Elton John, Zac Brown, Mumford and Sons, Mavis Staples, and the chick from the Alabama Shakes was Really Really good, and call me old school but I loved the LL Cool J, Chuck D, Tom Morello, Travis Barker performance to end the show.... was pretty happy with most of the outcomes as well..

4/4 for my predictions :chewy:

I watched most of the show. Very happy to see Gotye win all three of his awards, definitely deserves it. Was cool seeing Prince on the show presenting him the award as well. Justin Timberlake's performance with Jay Z was really good, I liked the black and white filter with the old school big band behind them. Jack White and the closing performance were the other standouts for me.
