The special effects look pretty amazing, the acting from the trailer looks a bit corny and predictable, but oh well. It's about time they made a movie on this event.

They've slaughtered what the Mayan's said. I liked Independence Day, but some of these "end of the world" movies are getting dumb. We know what's going to happen in this film. They'll get on these "ships" that have everything they need to replenish the Earth and they'll make it out alive, and it won't be the end. Pointless.
