In the past we did a game of posting 20 predictions, and I would score them based on if they came true. This year maybe something a little more basic.

Post 8 Predictions for 2011. Feel free to write a little bit that will lead up to the prediction.

1) Alberto Del Rio's Reign of Terror
- I predict not only will win and hold the championship at least 6 months; which is longer than just about any champ in years. I figure at Wrestlemania, or shortly after Del Rio will get his big break and the WWE will push him to the moon.

2) The Miz and Daniel Bryan
- I believe these two will square off and continue their fued in 2011, however this time it will be in the main event for the championship. I am thinking around the SummerSlam time frame.

3) Dolph Ziggler
- Once Ziggler loses Vickie... his face run with fail after a few months after his "fresh" factor wears off, and towards the end of 2011 he will be practically a jobber.

4) TNA....DONE
- Dixie Carter will realize she knows nothing about the business and the company will be sold. Hopefully to someone with at least a quarter of their brain, however the WWE could gobble them up.

5) ROH Ippv Buyrates
- ROH will have about 3,500 buyers for an IPPV, which would likely be more viewers than the worst TNA PPV of the year.

6) Shaemus
- Will get lost in the shuffle and WILL NOT win any world championships in 2011. With Miz, Barrett, and Del Rio heating up, Shaemus will be have to drop down to the midcard.

7) WWE gets desperate
- I think the WWE will try and pull a rabbit out of their hat this year. I am thinking someone like Brock, Rock, Austin, Goldberg of STing will wrestle in a WWE ring this year.

more to follow.

Ummm, maybe there wasn't one last year. I was banned/ de-modded in the past year or two, thus stunted my activity level.

Alberto Del Rio
Like the OP, I too see Alberto Del Rio becoming a major star for WWE. He signed a fairly short term deal which should be up sometime in 2012 so 2011 should be the year that makes or breaks Del Rio IMO. This should be the year WWE experiments to see if they have a bonafide new face that they need to resign or someone they shouldn't waste anymore time on. I see Del Rio becoming the first new person to win a World title in The E (I specifically think it'll be the actual WWE Championship) in 2011 but I don't think it'll happen until after SummerSlam. I know WWE is in a rebuilding phase and is looking to create alot of new faces quickly but I don't see them putting the World titles on as many people this year as they did last year. Del Rio may be the only "new" Champion of the year actually.

Randy Orton & John Cena
I know WWE sees Orton as the new Austin but I predict that, before the last quarter of 2011, Orton's face run will already be over. I also predict that at least 11 of the currently 13 scheduled 2011 PPVs will feature some combination of Orton and Cena in one of the World title matches with at least 5 of the shows having them both in the same match.

CM Punk
Sometime after this Cena feud has run it's course but before he's done with Nexus, 2011 will the year Punk will win his first WWE Championship in The E.

Mick Foley
2011 will be the year Mick Foley returns to WWE, possibly returning to the announcing desk short term. His contract will likely be a Legend's deal type of thing.

Bill Goldberg
The 2011 WWE Hall of Fame Class will include Bill Goldberg. There are alot of rumors that this year's ceremony will be WCW-themed and that Goldberg's name has been brought up as an inductee but a few in the company, notably Triple H, aren't excited about the idea. At the end of the day, I see Vince realizing since he can't get Sting or Flair, Bill Goldberg is the next biggest name strictly associated with WCW and that he's a name that can likely carry the "main event" induction tag. Business is business and, despite any claims to the contrary, Vince is a good businessman.

TNA
Nothing really big here - quite the contrary actually. I predict that, in 2011, TNA will show no growth - again. By the time December rolls around they'll still be drawing the same under 1,000 paid crowds they're currently averaging, they'll still be doing the same 20-25k PPV buys they've been doing since they abandoned the weekly concept, they'll still be recording the same 2-3 weeks of poorly screened television at a time in the same free venue they've been at for years, and they'll still be doing the same 1-1.2 weekly rating they've been getting since Spike moved the show to primetime Thursday. More of the same claiming to be the WWE alternative featuring mostly ex-WWE talent in prominent roles and rehashed WWE and WCW storylines. They'll continue to tread water and limp to the end of the year, only to claim once again how they've "proved everyone wrong" and "revolutionized the wrestling industry." I also see them closing the year without Hogan and Bischoff on the payroll.

That's enough I think.

1- Kofi Kingston will hold two mid-card titles (don't have to be different ones) during the course of the year.

2- Dolph Ziggler will have a world title match on PPV and lose.

3- John Morrison will captain a team at Survivor Series.

4- Beth Phoenix will turn heel and feud with Natalya over the Divas title.

5- Layla will go face on Michelle McCool and win the Divas title.

6- The Miz will lose the WWE title and not win it back all year.

7- Triple H will not win a title all year.

8- Justin Gabriel will become a mid-card champion sometime during the year.

9- Randy Orton will suffer an injury that puts him out for over 3 months.

10- Daniel Bryan will hold the US title until two PPVs after Wrestlemania.

1. Alberto Del Rio gets a big push on Smackdown, ideally to the World Heavyweight Championship. If there is a MITB at Mania he would be the ideal winner and eventually win the world title by Summer Slam. Which could set up a pretty awesome Del Rio/Taker or even a Del Rio/Cena feud to really establish him as a star going into 2012.

2. CM Punk breaks out in 2011. I see a bright year for Punk, and judging on the current angle he has going with Cena and Nexus it could be the feud that he needs to be propelled to a major player on RAW, I think this feud could lead to an awesome Punk WWE Championship run, which is something the WWE could use rather than the whole Cena/Orton/HHH cycle if you factor in guys like Miz, Punk, Sheamus and maybe throw in a Morrison run the WWE could be in great shape going forward.

3. The Miz maintains the level he's at after dropping the WWE title. I know the MITB winners seem to fall off the face of the earth after losing that inital title (none more than Swagger) but I feel that the Miz can, and will be able to maintain that level of heat and his spot as a top heel in the WWE. He's proving that he can get over as a main event type of heel and I think he'll be around for years to come.

More to come later. I'm having a brain fart right now lol.

WWE

* JoMo finally gets a world title run by the end of the year.

* Edge (face) & Christian (heel) WILL finally feud on Smackdown, with Christian costing Edge his title upon his return to kick things off.

* No world title for HHH throughout 2011.

* Evan Bourne, The Uso's, DH Smith, & Regal all no longer on the roster by the end of the year.

* Del Rio will have held at least 2 world titles.

* Beth Phoenix (face) v Natalia (champ - face) @ WM27... Beth turns heel to get the win.

* Despite any half-assed pushes like early 2010, Kofi Kingston will remain merely a staple of the midcard.

* Upon dropping the WWE title, Miz doesn’t get lost in the shuffle and has another stellar year.

TNA

* Flair clashes with Bischoff, leading to a Fourtune (face) vs Immortal (heel) fued… Dixie eventually makes Flair a GM-figure as 'reward' for his screwing Hogan & Bish over the impending court action over the ‘ownership’ of TNA during said fued.

* Neither Morgan nor Anderson will capture that elusive first world title.

* RVD will not be part of roster by end of the year.

* Should Jeff Hardy end up doing a short enough spell in prison, TNA will leave the belt on him ready for when he gets out.

* Low-Ki will return to TNA and be booked like a god as a long term X-div champ thanks to his brief WWE tenure.

* Mickie James to sustain a bad injury which keeps her out of the ring for at least a few months; forcing her to vacate the Knockouts title.

* Sid Vicious finally makes his once rumored, but since forgotten, TNA debut, stinks up a PPV and is gone within 3 months.

* Neither Dudley Boy’s singles runs will amount to jack-shit.

I predic that people will continue to greatly over rate Alberto Del Rio. And for all those talking about Miz getting no heat.. His match on raw was quiet.

Yeah, but surely that's a bit unfair.... Anyone over the age of 5 wants to see Truth get his ass kicked, don't they? ;o]

ok, 1st prediction: Santino and Kozlof will lose the tag titles to hopefully a legit tag team that's not just a laughable one that have a better finisher than that snake or strike or whatever it is.

2nd prediction: Alberto Del Rio will get a huge push which he'salready getting and win the world title and hold until maybe end or near the end of the year.

3rd prediction: Triple H makes his return and i think we all know what happens next...

4th prediction: more NXT seasons lol...

and finally: cena will overcome his nxt problems, his injury and win the title and tell us all that the champ is back. again for the what 20th time now?
those ar my predictions for 2011/wwe.

ok, 1st prediction: AJ styles will get kicked out of immortal and try a few times getting back in but to no avail. and soon turning face.

2nd prediction: Hogan returns and reunites with immortal and introducing a new member to the group. (Paul Heyman)

3rd prediction: RVD will once again win back his title that he never lost. and it'll be againt Jeff Hardy. if it's another opponent or something like a trip threat it's gonna be lame real lame, 'cause they've already build up the match so they better not F it up.

4th prediction: russo will get fired by Hogan and replaced by Paul Heyman and storylines actually get better...but paul heyman has a huge superise for everyone, including immortal. within a few weeks a small buildup, paul introduces his huge superise! Batista, who comes out and runs through the tna wrestlers including immortal, thus paul breaks away from immortal and running TNA (without the EV2 group). which brings me to my next prediction------>

5th prediction: EV2 is all...not just one but all fired!

6th prediction: MVP makes a stunning dabute. maybe tonight as the mystery man?

and finally: Sting will make his return.

those are my predictions for 2011/tna.
