Alonso has passed Webber for second. Webber is looking very slow, it looks like he isn't driving the same as Vettel. Button is a chance to pass both Alonso and Webber since Button is on a three stop strategy.

Webber has just passed Alonso for second. They traded second for a bit and it was a great battle. Webber will need to defend whilst also trying to catch Vettel who is 8 seconds ahead. Hamilton has moved up to fourth after passing Button.

Pirelli tyres, DRS and the moveable rear wing has transformed F1. Each race is so exciting and my love of this sport just continues to grow each race.

Vettel, Webber, Alonso, Hamilton, Rosberg, Button, Hedifeld, Petrov, Buemi and Kobayashi are the top ten.

The Spanish GP is one week away and it will be a good test of the new features. Overtaking is normally difficult in Spain and in previous races there are rarely any passes. Hopefully this year there will be plenty of overtaking as it makes the races more exciting.

WEBBER IS ON POLE!

Webber pulled out a great lap to just get pole ahead of Vettel in second. They were both over a second ahead of the rest of the pack. Hamilton, Alonso, Button, Petrov, Rosberg, Massa, Maldonado and Schumacher close out the top ten.

Looking forward to tomorrows race and hopefully Webber isn't jumped on the start.

Another race and another terrible start from Webber. Went from first to third after the start. Alonso had an incredible start moving from fourth to first by the first corner but in the end he could only get fifth. It was a McLaren and Red Bull day again but Vettel for the fourth time this season he walked away with a win. Hamilton had a great battle with him to get second. Button had a great strategy to get the final spot on the podium relegating Webber to fourth. For what was meant to be a boring race it turned into a great race.

Monaco GP is tomorrow and qualifying is tonight. It is such a good race track and the images are just stunning, one day I want to go watch it live. There is so little margin for error on this track especially coming out of the tunnel. Webber has a good chance on this track to beat Vettel.

Horrifying crash just before in Q3. Sergio Perez in a Sauber came out of the tunnel on the wrong side and stayed too wide. He then went right into the barrier and then into the tyre wall. The ambulance is there and is removing him from the car. He is on a stretcher and is talking so that is a good sign. Hopefully he is alright.

Top nine is Vettel, Button, Webber, Alonso, Schmacher, Massa, Hamilton, Rosberg and Maldonado.

There is no word yet on the condition of Perez.

Perez suffered a concussion and a strained thigh and should be racing in two weeks at the Canadian GP.

Amazing race tonight in Monaco. So much drama, thrilling finish and another terrible crash. Near the end there was a lot of traffic and Sutil locked his brakes causing a flow on affect where Hamilton breaked causing Alguersuari to run into him who then went into Petrov who crashed into the barrier. There was a red flag as Petrov was injured in his car. He was knocked unconscious but thankfully regained it soon after. He had some issues with his legs, no broken bones, but he was taken to hospital for investigation.

Vettel, Alonso, Button, Webber, Kobayashi, Hamilton, Sutil, Heidfeld, Barrichello and Buemi are the top ten although Sutil, Kobayashi and Hamilton are all under investigation so the standings may change.

Webber and Hamilton suffered from poor pit stops caused by issues with the radio communication. Neither team was ready for their driver and it caused them to lose at least ten seconds each.

A stunning race and so much to take in after all the crashes and passes.

The Bahrain GP is supposedly back on. Stupid decision by Ecclestone, nothing like this should be anywhere near Bahrain in it's current political climate. None of the drivers or teams want to race there yet because they can earn some money Bernie wants to go.

^Thankfully all the teams said they wouldnt go and it was cancelled. It is pencilled in as the season opener for 2012 so we will see what happens in Bahrain in the next nine months.

Brilliant race last night. Unfortunately I only saw up to the rain delay, that was at about 3:30am so it was just too late, but the result was fantastic. Huge amount of rain caused delays and the race started under the safety car and was stopped for a couple of hours at one stage due to pooling water. Early on Hamilton clipped Webber turning Webber around but thankfully both cars were able to continue although unfortunately for Webber it meant he went from fourth to thirteenth. Then not too long after Button and Hamilton were racing down the straight, Hamilton tried to take him on the outside, Button moved over and I assume didn't see him, they collided and Hamilton had to retire whereas Button had to pit. Button had to pit six times throughout the race but put in one of the best drives ever to get the win. He passed Vettel on the final lap so there was suspense right to the end. Webber managed to recover from his early knock from Hamilton and got third. Schumacher managed fourth whilst Petrov was fifth.

Quite a dull race compared to the rest of the season so far. All 24 cars made it to the finish line and there were no big dramas. Vettel won again with Alonso and Webber making up the rest of the podium. Webber should have had second but pitted too early in the last stint and that cost him the spot.

Standings are now Vettel 186 points, Button 109, Webber 109, Hamilton 97 and Alonso 87

Huge news for Australian fans, Daniel Ricciardo who is the reserve driver for Red Bull and Torro Rosso will race for Hispania for the rest of the season except for the Indian GP where Narain Karthikeyan will regain the seat for his home race. Ricciardo is only 22 but is primed to be a star at Red Bull once Webber goes. Ricciardo will most likely have to work his way up through Torro Rosso but currently he races in first practice and out-performs Buemi and Alguesueri regularly. In a Hispania he can't do much but hopefully he can impress everyone with his natural talent. First time since 1977 that two Australians raced together in the same GP.

German GP is this week. Back at the Nurburgring circuit. Mark Webber won the last time that F1 was at this track but this time around if it isn't Vettel it will be Alonso that wins. Those two are the form drivers and Webber just doesn't have everything together at the moment. Practice is happening now and qualifying is tomorrow.
