Slightly better specs allowing One S to play 4K resulotion and HDR.

It's also sleeker, white and has a USB port in the front. It's a good choice for your first Xbox One if Xbox One X is out of price range / can't wait till then. Not worth the upgrade from the Xbox One though, unless you have a 4K tv and are really into that.

Microsoft has also discontinued Xbox One. So your best bet is Xbox One S if you're looking into getting an xbox.
