If someone does win the MVP award who hasn't won it before this coming NBA season who do you see it being a why?

Kevin Durant - In my opinion I think it is just a matter of time before he does as he is just gonna keep getting better as is that young talented Thunder team. No telling who they might trade or pick up but if someone were to win the MVP this year who hasn't before he's my number 1 choice.

Chris Paul...he's got a lot to prove being fully healthy for the first time in a couple seasons and he's in a contract year. I say Hornets have a rebound year and win 50+ games. Lets not forget to mention if David West walks CP3 will be forced to take up a much bigger load.

The only ones who have a realistic shot at is who haven't won before are Durant & Howard.

Durant is really my only option for this reward.

Carmelo. With the season being shortened I think the Knicks will surprise people. He will get a spotlit on him for the first time in his career for a sole season. I honestly see him taking home the MVP, scoring title, and getting to the conference finals.

Wouldn't be the first time a team who didn't play defense did great trust me I should know but don't see the Melo having that kind of MVP season though.

That made me laugh. I think Melo will have a shot he were to keep the level of rebounding he was doing last year with Denver to go with the scoring we know he can do and can be point to as to why other players on the team are playing good with him.
