    It would be a little later in 2001, but bringing back Eddie Guerrero once he got his health in order would be a cool idea, and bringing in Rey Mysterio Jr. once WCW went under to perhaps be ECW World Champion and move towards a more wrestling based format could be cool.

    I used to use EWR, but setting up scenarios and match type restrictions would be too annoying to me, and then I would end up booking for stats (I couldn't help myself, I know the "best" EWR strategies if that makes sense). I like playing it as a game still from time to time though.

    I would guess that if WCW irl wanted to cut costs they would lower production costs of the PPV rather than drop PPVs. I know this was partly Vince's strategy when he felt forced to come up with the In Your House concept (he felt if he didn't have a PPV every month but WCW did it made the WWF...

    Even adding to that, you could name the Clash of the Champions specials after the WCW PPVs you are getting rid of (like current day NXT kinda does). Clash of Champions: The Spring Stampede, Clash of Champions: Fall Brawl (or War Games), etc.
