    There weren't backups they just weren't starting previously as they had seniors ahead of them. Same with Trask, his top receiver went to the NFL. Pitts is elite, I'll give you that.

    Awful argument. Trevor Lawrence has been one of the best QB's in CFB for three years. Jones had one good year, Trask had one good year and a half. Lawrence is clearly better but Trask and Jones had better years.

    I love Lawrence (Unless he pulls an Eli) but he was not the best player in CFB this year. Mac Jones and Kyle Trask had better years from the QB position. Trevor will (hopefully for my Jags sake) go on to be the best QB out of the three but he didn't deserve the Heisman.

    Not sure if anyone else follows college football, I've only started following the past few years. The season has already started for some teams but starts for a lot today. I am a Mississippi State fan and they're currently playing their first game. Who is everyone else a fan of?
