Yes, he's had bad matches. And I don't just mean shit like the zombie lumberjack match. And most of his matches are completely unremarkable and you'd lose nothing by skipping them.

Yeah it's probably his actual best match but I guess in some weird way in my brain, I'm more inclined to shout out my favorite singles match of his career as his best work.

I don't think flashiness has anything to do with the appreciation of his ring work. It's great to be safe and fundamentally sound, but he just simply does not produce great matches outside of the occasional gem. It's okay. My personal favorite match of his is against Rollins at Backlash 2018...

His loyalty, reliability and unselfishness are definitely elite level. His production as a whole throughout his career is pretty average though with some flashes of greatness.

I'm not, just giving my take on it. I like plenty of shit he's done, I just also disagree with what he's saying and think we're reaching a point where he's being overrated at lot. Which I get. He got a lot of undue hate for years, so I think now we're just seeing some overcompensation for that...

He is wrong about a lot of the shit he said in that quote. Dude hasn't made me believe/feel anything in years and has never had anything resembling a five star match in his whole career. I'm not a hater of the man at all, I appreciate what he brings to the table, but let's not get out of hand.

Sabs, your capacity for nuance is... unnerving

Fwiw it's a mostly comedy company and they've infringed on some WWE shit in the past and apparently gotten away with it, so yeah, I doubt there are really any repercussions here besides maybe a quick talking to.

Maybe she also thought it would be funny and isn't so quick to kiss the taint of an admittedly petty company.

Enough? I mean, DDT isn't some untelevised microfed, not by a long shot. And the photos/footage are all over the web. The lack of exposure isn't gonna be what will give her a pass. The fact that it was a replica and not in a competing company will probably make it alright. Wouldn't be too...
