    No, the Knights of Ren were first mentioned in The Force Awakens. I believe there may be a little more backstory about them in the novelization of the movie, but they've never been mentioned in any prior Star Wars canon. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Knights_of_Ren

    With the top domestic gross of all-time now out of the way, the story turns to whether or not The Force Awakens will have enough legs to make the $1.2 billion more that it needs to overtake Avatar for top worldwide gross. I think we'll see what legs it's going to have in the US after this...

    I'm sure there's already a ton of slash fiction on the subject. To be fair, they did seem pretty eager to hug and kind of gave each other the old bedroom eyes before the big final battle. Also, if BB-8 and R2 don't hook up in Episode VIII, I'm done with this shit. :lol:
