The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Not to mention, Owens "look" is the same look that a lot of WWE audience members have, so they can live vicariously through him as he kicks better looking people's asses.

The only thing you've been right about so far is that Cena can't compare to Orton. Of course he can't, he's well above any level Orton could ever achieve. Also, rofl at Orton playing a better psycho than Ambrose. Again, do you actually watch wrestling? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On the flip side, Cena going down with a major injury would force their hand. I tend to agree from a "star power" standpoint, but their in-ring product right now is pretty great. Too bad a lot of people don't watch the show strictly for wrestling these days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In that case, I'll bite. How is he a better all-around wrestler than Cena, Rollins or Ambrose? For that matter, is he better than Cesaro? Harper? Ziggler? Zayn? Personally, I'd say no but then again I don't just watch matches for chinlocks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At this point I honestly think it's trolling. Either that or you don't really watch wrestling.

Tbh I would also rather watch Santino.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Yeah, I wasn't trying to hate on Orton as there's certainly been matches of his over the last few years that I've enjoyed quite a bit. Hell, his series with Christian in 2011 was fantastic and he was a huge part of making those matches great. That being said, he ranks behind many in terms of...

Pfft, so has the Cena hate but you're still on that train. I watch the PPV's and a lot of the matches and, sorry to say, I think Orton isn't all that good. I don't think he sucks, but he's not "one of the most entertaining wrestlers in the WWE" either.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

So, what you're saying is that you don't really watch current WWE.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux Did you miss the part where I said that? Besides, that's already been answered so what's the difference? The bottom line here is that you used the argument that "a face should never cheat to win" and there was no cheating involved from either the...

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux Even forgetting Steele for a moment, what did Steamboat do to cheat? He rolled through a Savage body slam attempt and hooked him for a three count. If there's cheating there, I must have missed it somewhere.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux Given that positive statement at the end, I'm going to DL last night's Raw and watch it later. I'll give it as fair a shake as possible and I'll report my thoughts back on it tomorrow in the Raw LD thread.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux My statement wasn't really meant to lead to questioning, it was simply me voicing a (probably) unpopular opinion. Through reading the majority of the results, it seems painfully obvious to me that the show has stagnated. I don't have to watch a Daniel...

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux Wow, this thread has been dormant for far, far too long. I'll start us off with a new one.... WWE currently blows dicks and I can't sit through more than five minutes of their programming without wanting to vomit.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux Really? He's awesome man, and talk about being able to literally talk people into a building. He may be the best in the business right now. If you haven't seen the match between him and Quack at High Noon I highly recommend it. Made my top 3 for MOTY.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux Some sure, but people who say he's directly responsible are ignoring history. I just don't get all the Russo hate when nobody even knows for sure what he did or didn't do. Hell, he's not even booking TNA anymore and people still say he's to blame for...

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux Because its finished. We've defined what a job is and what jobbers are. It's over and done with. I just realized over and done with is a totally redundant statement. Also, to get things back on track, this may be a really unpopular one with some...

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux But he still went ahead and lost the match, which was planned, ergo he did the job. And yes, most things in wrestling are planned and voluntary, but that doesn't change the definition you were asking for.

The Return of Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

Re: Unpopular Wrestling Opinions Redux The actual definition is a "planned and voluntary loss". That doesn't state anything about how much offense a guy gets in.
