  1. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

Cody Rhodes was NEVER the utter shits. He was a solid undercard babyface in his very first feud with Orton. He was better than Holly in their tag team, and then he was clearly the superior worker in Priceless.
  2. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

tbf, I'm pretty sure PeepShow was the only one cheering for him, and he's just really loud
  3. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

I'd like to see him feud with and job to Dolph Ziggler. They could have some fun segments and a match or two. Somebody respond to this and tell me who gets Ziggler heat, please.
  4. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

So every single person they push should appeal to the same demographic?
  5. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

People act like he should be used in the midcard.
  6. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

Not that they weren't all cheers, just that they weren't as loud as really they should have been given the circumstances. I don't recall JR's, but I specifically remember Triple H and Morrison getting reactions less than what should have been.
  7. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

Are you talking about this past Raw? From the onset all I could think about was how lame they were. The underwhelming reaction for Triple H and John Morrison showed me how bad it was, but I noticed it from the opening match.

As for the "cleanness" of the Cena/Punk finish... I'd agree it wasn't technically clean, but that alone doesn't mean anything. The reason an unclean finish is potentially bad is because it makes the winner look weak in victory. Given that, I'd say that CM Punk looked incredibly strong through...
  9. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

Ahh, okay yes that makes sense.
  10. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

Woah, proof? I have only read the opposite.
  11. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

The ending to Raw would have been an awesome ending to Summerslam. Let a storyline simmer, WWE.
  12. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

Unfortunately, McMahon family turns specialize in not making sense =(
  13. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

There were probably a couple levels to it. Definitely that, and then also the fact that Stone Cold was a huge star while never kissing Vince's ass. He listed Hogan, Rock, and Cena as guys who got to the top by being loyal servants. Austin, both on screen and off, was never really best friends...
  14. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

My hope is that it wouldn't be a send-off, and that he really has been signed. Summer of Punk: 2011.
  15. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

Maybe it is because of what they just did with Steen, but I half wonder if they will go through with doing Cena vs. Del Rio at MITB pretending like Punk is still fired, AND THEN PUNK SHOWS UP IN CHICAGO! WALKS DOWN THROUGH THE FANS! BAH GAWD HE'S HERE, KING.
  16. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

15 hour drive to Ohio lol
  17. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

If I lived within a 4 hour radius of Chicago, I'd almost definitely go to this show. Briefly considered taking a trip to see a friend in Ohio that weekend, a trip that I'm taking this summer anyway. But I'm probably going with friends, and no way they'll want to go several hours out of the way...
  18. The Thread of God aka CM Punk

I love what he actually said, but more than that, he just instantly shot up my interest in this feud. When he feuded with Cena and Orton, I was dying for him to turn the feud into him being the ultimate "anti-Cena/Orton" going up against them. It never turned out that way. But this time, it has...
