  1. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

Handed my list in, and I had seven AJPW matches on the list, up from five in 1990. It's such an amazing run for the company. Also for real but I actually think this is the most loaded list for me so far. I haven't had to knock off so many genuinely great matches that I desperately wanted to vote...

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

This Sano vs. a very young Minoru Suzuki is even better
  3. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

Vader vs. Fujinami handheld in Germany's CWA for their vacant intercontinental title. Maybe even better than the fantastic Vader/Muto match from the G1. Fujinami as a babyface here reminded me a lot of peak Tito Santana, but even better.
  4. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

This match is tremendous and needs more recognition next to their other matches (esp 93) imo

    Bad Music: a Celebration

wow, that was extremely annoying. have you seen this btw
  6. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

Yeah it's a tremendous fight. If it's not in my top ten then it's like #12 at worst. Three weeks is longer than I thought we had, honestly great news as someone with still 35 - 40 matches he'd like to check out.
  7. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

If you made a 1990 list and were into the Jumbo vs. Misawa singles matches, don't skip the 4/18/91 match. Honestly was surprised by it's quality given it's not really in the consensus as one of the best king's road matches. The crowd are something fierce, too.
  8. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

Watched Jushin Liger vs. Norio Honaga from 4/30/91 and 5/31/91 and if possible I want to keep both on my list. Deciding which I wanted over the other was a little tough already, but without potential spoilers I'll say the latter one went in a direction I was actually a little surprised to see so...
  9. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

The date is wrong (the show was eventually found out to have happened on the 16th, not the 19th) and this kind of style isn't for everybody, but here is Ken Shamrock in Japan with poofy ass hair vs. Naoki Sano, in an incredible 25 minute shoot style epic. I could have it top 5, a definite MOTYC...
  10. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

I won't be listing it but the Hulk Hogan vs. Genichiro Tenryu match from the SWS/WWF joint show in December is some really good big time wrestling. Hogan definitely liked to switch his game up in Japan and somehow was still good at those takedowns nearing 40 and having 20 tons of roids pumped...
  11. GARBAGE

Greatest Match of 2020 - The Countdown

Honestly if you asked me gun-to-head where I put that Styles/Danielson I wouldn't have said top ten because I can't remember the match terribly well but it definitely was a really good, hard hitting bout. I wasn't super looking forward to its length but I don't think it lost me either. I...
  12. GARBAGE

Greatest Match of 2020 - The Countdown

Not a fan of a lot of modern NJPW main events but that Okada/Ibushi worked very well for the length. I felt they let most of everything breathe instead of trying to throw out tons of big moves one after the other. Ironically I thought Okada took things a slower pace in this match, than the Naito...
  13. GARBAGE

Reviewing every WWE PPV in order from worst to best

That Undertaker/Heidenreich casket match is some dogtrash. There's a bit where Heidenreich tries to apply a cobra clutch or something and couldn't figure it out and it's just hilarious and embarrassing.
  14. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

Warrior was Not Good but there were times where he was so over and did exactly what he needed to in a match to keep the heat going. More than one of those weasel suit matches vs. Bobby Heenan from the late 80s are actually good matches to me, for exmaple. I don't remember Slaughter vs. Hogan or...
  15. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

I watched the tag again it's still one of the best things ever, may have it top 5. Seeing Arn's reaction to Steamboat again put a bigger smile on my face than almost anything I've experienced this year. Near-perfect Southern tag wrestling, which may be the most consistently enjoyable style of...
  16. GARBAGE

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

I haven't seen that tag in forever but it was always one of my favourite matches of all time and I can't imagine it not holding up. Definitely a contender for top ten.
  17. GARBAGE

Greatest Match of 2020 - The Countdown

I was pleasantly surprised by Reigns vs. Owens. Never disliked Steen/Owens but also never been a huge huge fan of him either, and this felt like the first time watching him that he could be Face of the Company. I liked the Uso run in even, dude got stomped. The parking lot war is amazing. I...

Greatest Match Of 1991 - You Decide

I don't think I'll be able to make room for it but if someone could vote the awesome Bossman/Barbarian match from the Royal Rumble plz do thnk u xx
  19. GARBAGE

Greatest Match of 2020 - The Countdown

Ishikawa and Ikeda getting to have multiple matches OUTSIDE OF JAPAN in the year 2020 is just something that almost should not have been allowed to happen (or, been allowed to happen the previous 2.5 decades) and I couldn't be happier about it. I almost, almost liked that Ospreay/Sabre match at...
  20. GARBAGE

Greatest Match of 2020 - The Countdown

I'm a big Togo fan and honestly the Harada match still took me a bit by surprise. I actually probably liked it more than any Togo match I watched for the 2010 list. Cody/Lee was pretty good but I thought the Kingston match with Rhodes was more explosive and exciting and really the perfect way...
