    I’m lucky that as a cart attendant at Target I’m allowed to wear shorts since I’m always outside. There’s been times where I’ve had a cashier shift and wore shorts and no one said anything though, I do that because I figure they’re going to have me cover the other cart person’s break or something

    My former supervisor got tased by someone once. The lady that tased her was with someone that got caught stealing and my supervisor (she wasn’t one at the time) told her to wait outside the security office door. Then the lady sneaks up behind her and tased her. Afaik that lady is still behind...

    I’ve seen coworkers reduced to tears because of a guest being rude to them. One time a lady threatened one of them so she had to stay off of drive up orders for awhile and needed an escort to her car

    For drive up orders I can see the long wait time on my device if I’m getting behind and I’ll apologize to the guest about the wait time but they’re usually always understanding about it

    I personally as the cart attendant don’t deal with too many rude people other than almost getting hit by cars in the parking lot. When I’m helping ring up it happens on occasion I get the rude guest but drive-up guests are hardly ever rude
