    While researching what songs were released in 2001, I discovered that there's a band called Skyfire. They were a Swedish Death Metal Band. I gave them a listen but not even a minute into one song I knew I wasn't going to pick them. I'm not a fan of death metal.

    Allison Goldfrapp. I just learned that she has embarked on a solo career after Goldfrapp (the duo of her and Will Gregory) took a hiatus. I'm a huge fan of Goldfrapp's work, so I'm interested to hear her solo work.

    I just discovered a freaky coincidence. For this whole competition, 12 rounds, 70 years, there's about a 17% chance of a particular year getting chosen for this. We've been playing this for a little over a month and now we just happen to get 2001 with a particular date coming up in a few days.
