2024 Stanley Cup Playoff Prediction Pool

Based on the.....nothing I know about hockey. I'm going with the Panthers.

I think if I was willing to bet on myself, I'd do it. I'm sure these guys know who's on the hot seat and who isn't, so while Cindric probably won't be out after this year, you'd have to think another extended winless period could get him out. To me, if you can set yourself up to get to Penske...

Just me thinking out loud here. Logano and Blaney aren't going anywhere. Both signed "long-term" deals in 2022. If Cindric is considered the low-man on the totem pole, does the 21 car look more attractive to some of the guys leaving SHR since it's considered the transition car to get into a...

Yea, Tim is the president of something with Penske. I think the assumption is that if Austin, who had gone 85 races without a win, continued to struggle, they would want him out and Tim Cindric would leave with his son. Don't think it matters now, as Cindric is gonna be in the playoffs.

Oh, and as an aside, it's expected that Love's is going to be staying with FRM instead of going with McDowell, but that's not 100% confirmed.

Read an interesting piece about Cindric's win yesterday. Reportedly, he's in a contract year and his poor performance this season has some people speculating that he could be on the hot seat with 4 current Ford drivers looking for work. Looks to me like he picked a good week to pick up a W lol

I usually screen shot my team just so I can go back and evaluate after the race. Based on my quick math, I've lost....77 points due to bad garage management, which has largely been due to missing the end of stage 2. Oof.

I had Bowman in place before the race started and swapped him with McDowell about 10 minutes before the green flag lol

The garage thing has been a thorn in my side this year lol. I get it.

I'm not sure what happened to McDowell today. It's like once he got into some dirty air he just had absolutely nothing in that car.

Busch getting pissy bit him in the ass there.

I can't wait until NBC takes over for the season. Outside of enjoying Harvick, this Fox broadcast is just awful. Bowyer says there's a car in the wall and the camera can't find it until it's dead stopped.

Elliot saying his toe link is knocked way out of line. Impressive that he's running sixth, but that's gonna be hard to battle all day.

Talking to a guy on BR, he pointed out that if Bubba would be +40 right now if Larson doesn't get a waiver. +21 and near the cutline if he does. Makes sense as to why he has a problem with a waiver.

Oooo. Stenhouse just a few spots behind Busch on this restart. There's a chance for some fireworks.

3 laps and we have Brad saving it after getting hit by Bubba and a two-car incident with Ware and JHN. St. Louis is a really fun track.
