    And honestly, I'm totally speculating, but I've never felt like Shelton is even interested in being the top guy anywhere. At no point in his career has he really made a push to be a real ace kinda guy.

    I also don't buy Shelton winning the Impact World Title. Not even a little. Stranger things have happened, but their main event scene is solid and that's not even counting the younger dudes who could be moving up the card in the near future.

    I don't buy that they'd treat her as a big fish. She'd have to prove herself, somewhat along the lines of Steve Maclin (formerly of Forgotten Sons) before getting a significant push I believe.

    All I know is they had moved into that secondary US promotion spot after TNA took a nosedive. In 2019 is when it really all came undone when they lost their biggest draws.
