Sting I guess would be where there going with this, there's really no one out there right now that available that would be a big enough signing. TNA is full of shit when it comes to this stuff though, so it will prob be something crap.
Guessing Rock isn't going to be on the show tonight, otherwise would of seen a immediate comeback, makes sense with the draw for this show being the EC fallout and 2-21-11 arrival, save a Rock rebuttal for next week.
They prob expected the movie to do bad in the select theaters they put it in, and are hoping to just make some movie off the DVD sales. Regardless WWE should just cut off the theater releases all together and stick to direct to dvd.
Assuming he was working on a pay per appearance deal previously. Nothing to impressive about him, but they do need new tag teams so if there going to keep him and the other guy together it seems like a decent enough signing.
Could see why they turned those guys down, will be interesting to see what the cast ends up being consisted of. But I could see them not wanting to go after any guys that have worked for either ROH or TNA.
