    Kennedy got fucked by an injury and then not having enough of a big name to survive the drug thing, while others came out smelling like roses.

    I never heard it like that, no. I always heard it as this one huge big overarching story... hence the whole creative immediately crumbled into one big pile of shit for the rest of 07 and early 08, because that was their one horse they had planned to ride.

    I thought this was an open secret for years now. The death was a faked one, which then lead to a big power struggle between the McMahons, Triple H and the illegitimate son Mr Kennedy.

    But thinking about it more... I dunno. At the end we would've have had once again a huge McMahon-centered story that probably would've lead to no one's getting over, except for Triple H or a McMahon.
