    I think most people had the expectation that the footage was being shown to prove how Punk was in the wrong, to stick it to him and maybe WWE by extension - but then, that's not what happened, and the actual point maybe went over people's heads.

    Obviously from the outside perspective, AEW themselves (or at least TK) aren't letting it go by virtue of running this angle. And idk, maybe they're actually not. But you could read between the lines that the point of this all was to portray how pointless the continued bickering is.

    Yes, meta isn't the right word I think. FTR Gun stated it straight up. But, I guess I meant that no one was really drilling home the idea or "yeah, let's all move on", you'd kinda have to extrapolate that for yourself. Bad guys = bringing it up, good guys = trying to move on.

    I might just be trying to rationalize what I felt was a really questionably booked angle, but I wonder if that was meant to convey a message of like "don't be hung up on Punk like The Bucks, move on from that shit like FTR" in some meta way.
