What, I think is funny is that WWE probably just pretends didn’t happen is technically Maxxine Dupri got introduced as his sister and she’s still going by that name even though Max was like that’s not my name and went back to LA Knight.
I didn’t mind the Max Dupri character. I actually liked his look and a little bit of that character, but I do think as far as being a manager was not what was best for him. If he could’ve found a middle ground between those characters and also continued to wrestle and not be a manager. I think...
In the year that Austin had to take away for his neck injury, the rock and triple H became major players at the top of the card. Austin coming back and just doing what he was doing before just wasn’t gonna be possible and this was proven when they attempted to go back backwards in 2002 and it...
I probably agree with you more than anyone else on this forum. I’m someone that when I think something especially like a group I don’t think they ever need to end it because I like what I like and I don’t like it to be taken from me, but where I probably split from you is I don’t think nothing...
There’s honestly nothing further you could do with stone cold at that point.
It did fail, but not because Austin didn’t kill it making it work because those first three months of his heel run were great, but the problem was they had no other baby faces stand up to him.
Rock went to film...
I don’t like agreeing with this guy, but sometimes if it ain’t broke, we don’t need to fix it. I don’t typically think Drake or Knight ever needs to change because I think his character works now don’t get me wrong if he can think of something to do that’s different. That would be better than...
I didn’t particularly care for the Stone cold that needed hugs and Vince by his side, but the jealous killer version of him when he was a heel was actually pretty awesome and entertaining.
Well, it’s a good thing they also completely acted differently had completely different motivations and completely different interactions with other characters. You know things you do when you change your gimmick.
Yes, both of those 2001 Stone colds are heels. You can say it’s the worst version but it’s very clearly a different version if you’re even yourself is clearly saying it’s worse.
But also completely different heels. One was a paranoid suck up and the other one was a vicious jealous killer.
If you can’t tell the difference between completely different characters, then I guess you really don’t have a problem with change at all because you just don’t see the change anyway.
I don’t know about talking the same but all of those gimmick changes they definitely acted differently. There’s a world of difference between 98 stone cold early 2001 stone cold and late 2001 stone cold those three alone are completely different characters.
If you think Rocky Maivia, the nation of domination Rocky, the corporate rock, 2000 Babyface rock, Hollywood rock, and now the final boss rock are exactly the same, you’re the one whose argument holds no weight.
Austin‘s changes weren’t as dramatic as the rock but even Austin started as the ringmaster then became the heel stone cold then he became the baby face stone cold then he became the paranoid stone cold then he became the Vince McMahon champion Stone cold then he became the coward Stone cold they...
