  1. Undertaker and HHH fined by WWE

It was a protected shot. I've watched it numerous times, and while really convincing it was perfectly protected....which is what a protected chair shot should be when you think about it. And if people really think HHH and Undertaker went forward with this without anyone having prior knowledge...
  2. ROH TV After HDNet - What Next?

I agree completely with what you're saying, unfortunately not everyone agrees with us. There are many network executives that would look at the product ROH turns out and see it as a small time show compared to what WWE or TNA put on. While we look at things from a wrestling fan standpoint, all...
  3. WWE Tough Enough 2011

I could continue this argument over how shitty Canada really is, and we could turn this into a flame war like this forum has never seen. But instead I'll just post about how great Tough Enough is this Monday fgt :usa:
  4. WWE Television Ratings

Their plan seems to be to have a different guest trainer per show. This coming week is John Cena, and they have advertised The Rock for a future episode. This is where they're probably hoping to keep the ratings high, and if RAW keeps pulling good numbers it should work out well.
  5. Seak Says: A New Era?

Due to my respect for KFC (who the hell is Troy?!) I figured I'd write a little column here. For those who don't know, I am Seak. I am Seak on every forum I visit, so if you know Seak from any wrestling forum, that's me. I've been a wrestling fan since the early 90's, although my first show was...
  6. ROH Announces Four New Signings

I've read (cbf finding it atm) that ROH is signing more wrestlers to contracts so the company has more appeal to big networks. This is a great idea, and hopefully a step towards a real TV deal.
  7. ROH World Champion

They don't need to turn Richards heel for them to face for the title. They have faced each other before while being the American Wolves, hell they fought for the TV title. With them built as both trying to compete to be the best, it's easy to have a face vs face feud. The reason I say Richards...
  8. ROH TV After HDNet - What Next?

The only difference between TNA and ROH is Panda Energy. If ROH had that kind of money behind them they would be on a good TV station and be able to have a flashy set up like TNA. Unfortunately they don't, thus making them seem smaller to network executives, thus making it harder for them to get...
  9. WWE Television Ratings

TE had a great debut, but like you stated, this coming episode will be what really counts. If the ratings drop it's a horrible sign. If they get a 2.3 or higher I think it will be a huge success since that's what the HOF did at the same time slot.
  10. WWE Tough Enough 2011

Nobody cares about Canada. Therefore you're missing a good show so far.
  11. WWE Tough Enough 2011

It was a very good first episode imo. Stone Cold came across absolutely great, and we got a good look at the contestants. They began with the basics of running the ropes and taking basic bumps, and you already know who is going to have problems and who legitimately has been doing this for a...
  12. ROH TV After HDNet - What Next?

I don't see that happening. Unless TNA and ROH had some kind of talent exchange relationship or some shit I doubt Spike would pick up a rival promotion. It would have been like WWE and WCW on the same network.
  13. Real Seak has to support KFC. It's a sad fact that I can't explain. And I'm a wrestling fan so...

Real Seak has to support KFC. It's a sad fact that I can't explain. And I'm a wrestling fan so I'll discuss ROH with anyone. Sports Entertainment pisses me off ffs.
  14. ROH TV After HDNet - What Next?

Spike picked up TNA because it was an "alternative" to WWE and their "sports entertainment" style. So to me it would make sense for Spike to drop TNA since it's not what they advertised themselves as and picked up and actual alternative that doesn't follow the same ideology as WWE.
  15. ROH World Champion

Richards is already building himself up for his next run at the title. He says it will be his last try. But I have a feeling it's going to be somewhat of a slow build as he just "changed his wrestling style" to a more MMA based style. While they continue with that build they can keep building...
  16. ROH TV After HDNet - What Next?

That would probably be best for Spike actually. ROH would probably end up bringing in better ratings than TNA and the company wouldn't be thought of as a joke.
  17. ROH World Champion

I noticed there was no thread on this, shame on you. So, Eddie Edwards beat Rodrick Strong on Manhattan Mayhem to become the very first ROH Triple Crown Champion. Two years ago the ROH faithfuls saw Eddie as a nothing wrestler. He wasn't suppose to get over, but he did. His teaming with...
  18. ROH - Honor Takes Center Stage

Seeing as both events are going to cost $20 total, the few matches already announced make these cards more than worth the price. Each show will probably end up being close to three hours, so we'll get about 6 hours of wrestling for $20, which is unheard of these days. Edwards winning the title...
  19. ROH TV After HDNet - What Next?

ROH on HDNet is an amazing wrestling program. Despite losing guys like Bryan Danielson, Nigel McGuinness, Austin Aries, and Kevin Steen they manage to keep bringing in young guys with a hell of a lot of talent. Their fast paced matches that they're well known for would easily work on Versus, and...
