    To be fair @Canadian Dragon I never said AEW weren't the second biggest company in the world. That still doesn't make them legit comp or as big as WCW were. This is clearly a longer conversation for another time. See you guys.

    No in general the numbers just ain't there. I think there make a lot mistakes, like the "on and another surprise sighing" routine they pull out too much.

    I think one of the things that bothers some people is the way AEW fans talk them up like their legit comp like WCW were back in the day. Their no where near.

    The mental gymnastics thing works both ways. There are people that go to the other extremes, where they act like AEW can do no wrong and talk it up like the greatest thing ever. I don't think people should be mocked for their opinion. If you like AEW that's your right. If you don't like it...

    Maybe, I'm not a big AEW fan, but then I don't really do modern wrestling. But there is still evidence that he goes way over boards. On Cornette's pod there was a episode where they went through Meltzer's awards for the year. It included the Young Bucks book as best wrestling book of the year...

    I wouldn't go as far as to say their being paid. But I do think Meltzer goes way overboard with some his praise for them.
