    I do like how D&D lore is kind of weird about their origin but the first explanation I had heard was they're descendents of Tiamat who stick to their people likes tribes since they're such a newer races

    There's a companion for pretty much every class though except Bard, Monk, and Sorcerer, but those begin to be more advanced with spell slots and magic. Bard is, compared to wizard, one of the strongest classes thanks to things like Jack of All Trades, especially in the table top version...

    fighter is really simple, the champion subclass at level 3 is simple but effective aswell. I wouldn't suggest multi-classing though until a second playthrough though as the game caps at level 12
