  1. The GOAT

    WWE Injury List

Kevin Nash - suffering from a torn quad in both legs. Will not be able to make a nostalgia appearance for WWE even if they wanted him to.
  2. The GOAT

WWE Network Special Taking Place on June 29th

Booking Brock vs Owens on a Network special/Live Event instead of a PPV lol. Unless they book it in a way that leads to something bigger, then what a waste.
  3. The GOAT

    last Championship Scramble in WWE

I hated the Scramble match. Glad they haven't brought it back since. I recall being amused at how in the wake of Unforgiven 2008, HHH said in-character that that match was probably the most difficult of his entire career... Despite having only been in the match for exactly five minutes. :lool:
  4. The GOAT

WWE 1st Quarter 2016 Financial Results- Discussion Thread.

WWE Network will never be the #1 streaming service in the world other Netflix or a couple others. You can get that fantasy our of your head right now.

Brie Mode : Looking Back at Brie Bella's Career

She had a pretty unspectacular career, just like most of the women that have passed through WWE. But at least she didn't have to bang the biggest star in the company just to be crowned Diva's Champion like her sister did. I guess that's something. Yeah, until the make-up comes off. Then Brie...

WWE Cleans house. Release week 2016

That says what exactly about him becoming the next top superstar?
  7. The GOAT

WWE Cleans house. Release week 2016

That's my point, though - These guys they're firing are all recognizable to the WWE fanbase and most have done at least something that could be considered slightly worthwhile in the past, which makes beating them a little more credible than just beating some random Joe that no one's ever seen or...

Dead could be brought 'back to life' in groundbreaking project

I always thought that this would become possible one day. Cool news, but no big surprise. Just wait and see what kind of shit we'll be able to do once nanotechnology really takes off.
  9. The GOAT

WWE Cleans house. Release week 2016

I know WWE does an annual talent purge almost every year, but I still don't see the point in cutting a lot of these people. Just use them as jobbers, it's not like the company doesn't need those as well.
  10. The GOAT

WWE Cleans house. Release week 2016

lol Whoever saw Alex Riley as "the next guy"? He got pretty good reactions for turning on The Miz, but you're gonna need more than that and over a longer sustained period of time to really convince anyone that matters that you're the next big superstar. He always seemed destined for a career in...
  11. The GOAT

    European Title

They have enough titles in the midcard as it is, thanks. Two championships is plenty enough to build the midcard around, a third title would just begin to dilute the prestige of the other two.
  12. The GOAT

The Roman Empire starting to break through?

    Because Smackdown is taped.
  13. The GOAT

The Most Epic 'Yes' In History

So thunderous the whole goddamn building shook when he said it. Skip straight to 4:40 if you want to see what I'm talking about, although I'd suggest watching the entire video, since Hogan's promo as a whole is awesome. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
  14. The GOAT

    Ryback off TV indefinitely

While I can respect someone for not being job-scared and actually having the courage to stand up to Vince, his view that everyone should be paid equally is simply ridiculous for all the obvious reasons. And ironically, if he ends up staying with WWE, it'll be because of the pay, since whatever...
  15. The GOAT

Who thinks the midcard titles should merge?

They give midcarders something extra and productive (at least back when the belts mattered) to do. That's the opposite of "pointless."
  16. The GOAT

Is Sasha Banks the greatest female in-ring performer in WWE history?

Banks' moment is probably being held off until Summerslam in Brooklyn. I've no problem with that either, as I think there's still plenty of mileage to get out of Charlotte defending the belt, and not everything needs to happen right away. As for the topic, Sasha is still way too early into her...
  17. The GOAT

Who thinks the midcard titles should merge?

Absolutely not. If anything, a third championship would probably be welcomed but I'm content with having only two. The roster is way too big for there to be only one title for midcarders to compete over.
  18. The GOAT

    RAW revival

I haven't noticed much of a "revival" but like Seabs said, Raw has it's ups and downs, and usually whenever the show is pretty good for a few weeks in a row, people get ahead of themselves and assume the quality of the program will be like this from now on and then find themselves disappointed...
  19. The GOAT

    Boom period?

Will take more than a stacked roster to start another boom period. Takes the right characters, storylines, and an overall cultural shift in it's perception of wrestling to really jump-start momentum where everything becomes insanely hot again. There's a lot of different uncontrollable variables...

Joanie "Chyna" Laurer Passed Away At 45

Yes. DDP helped get him as well as Hall both on the right track, but when you've had massive drug problems for years, it can take such a toll on your long-term health that you can still die later on before your time.
