    Open Letter to WWEF

This site doesn't seem very dead at all, the top 5 posters today make up 161 posts alone. I know for sure I wish I had that kinda activity when I tried my hand out in making forums :(. I've always thought this forum had a very friendly and (for the most part) fun community, but not much quality...

    All Things G1

What did you guys think of the Styles/MiSu finish though? It kinda ended on a flat note to me, especially after the amazing spot before it with Styles powering out of MiSu's submission and doing a Styles Clash and then not being able to go for the pin because of his arm. Day 7 has been my...

New Japan Pro-Wrestling General Discussion Thread

Second to Ishii as best underdog babyface imo, though I can't say I'm not disappointed we aren't seeing Shibata/Ibushi. Shibata/Honma the first time was great, though. who hype for tonight?

    Why Wrestler's use Stage names?

Because Mark William Calaway isn't as marketable as The Undertaker.

WWE officially signs Japanese star Kenta

I can think of more matches in NXT that I'd be interested seeing him in than on the main roster currently to be honest. NXT's roster in the coming months is going to be dope with Zayn, Neville, Kidd, KENTA, Devitt and Steen on it.

    The Roman Reigns Revenue Problem

I didn't realize no one would buy his T-Shirt if he didn't wear it coming to the ring? If he's popular enough, people will buy his T-Shirts. He really doesn't need to be a living breathing advertisement.

WWE Network is failing big time

I don't know about you, but killing their entire PPV business doesn't seem like much of a calculated risk to me. Especially considering their lowest predicted subscriber numbers were one million, and they guaranteed much more. If it was a calculated risk, shouldn't of their prediction been about...

WWE Network is failing big time

Absolutely. The package is good, the price is good, it just sucks that the product it produces isn't good. This is the most important aspect in raising the subscriber count. Because after all, what sane person is going to spend $10 a month on something they don't enjoy?

WWE Network is failing big time

That's kind of the reason why they did include all the PPV's though, because nobody does care about the rest of the PPV's. Without them, would they really have any selling point? I don't see classic PPV's or their "ground breaking" exclusive original programming as selling points, to be honest...

WWE Network is failing big time

No question about it. I really don't see how people can be surprised it's failing, to be honest. They set an overly high goal that they hyped as completely doable based on a "study" showing that over 90 million homes in America had a WWE fan in them. And they're now paying the price. They'll in...

WWE Network is failing big time

But how many people are actually hooked to the television show and aren't just watching it out of habit?

WWE Network is failing big time

Let me just copy paste what I said again: $120 isn't a whole lot, but how many people want to spend that on the WWE? It may seem like a good deal (and it is a good deal), but how many people actually want it? I think the WWE has a die-hard audience that will pay for their product no matter...

WWE Network is failing big time

The way to get more subscribers on the WWE Network is to make a Television show not available on the network more relevant?
  14. leojay

WWE Network is failing big time

But how many people actually want to spend $120 a year on the WWE? What is their core audience? I doubt it's over a million to be honest, especially considering their flag ship show only averages four million. They'd need a quarter of their audience watching a free TV Show to pay $120 a year for...

Apparently Ustream are dropping all PPV's from now on, JUST BEFORE THE G1

Former head writer Alex Greenfield buries Dunn

The WWE's production style has been insanely generic, robotic and boring for years now. I think it's the biggest thing wrong with the product. I don't know if it's because they've used the "style" for so long or if it's shit, but regardless things just have to be changed. Whenever I watched...

Global Wars/ War of the worlds cards

That commentary was pretty awful for tonight. It put me off quite a few of the matches. Overall, fun show. Shinsuke/Steen, reDragon/Young Bucks, Liger/Cole and Okada/Styles/Elgin were really fun and made the PPV worth the buy. It sucks that they didn't have Tanahashi go up against Cole, but I...
