They should give Miz a similar push to what ROH gave Jay Lethal with the TV title in 2014-2015 (back me up here @Androode). Set him up with a nice, long dominant run. Hell, let him beat the Honky Tonk Man's run. Where he positions himself as a man with a grudge who considers himself the main...
Not to mention that Hardy is 41. So age is a factor against him. WWE is going through a bit of a youth movement, even with WWE signing guys like Roode, Styles and Samoa Joe I think Matt, at age 41 is a bit too old to become anything in WWE again.
Or because it was an excellent promo spoken from the heart. It was an emotional piece, which makes people connect. The dude poured years of being shat on by the internet, other wrestlers and god knows who else into a promo. And it worked. The best villains in media are always the ones that...
Agreed. I loved the big lug as a worker. But they tried to present a big, tattooed white guy as a Japanese lord. Shame since the gimmick only needed minor tweaks to work
GJPW Gold Dust Series 2017 Report
It is time to report on the first ever Gold Dust Series. The month of March was the first month in a few where we did not see any injuries occur, and multiple title matches were held during the month. Keeping the action flowing. At the opening day of the tour...
Time to drop a recommendation.
AAW is a promotion I want to warmly recommend to anyone looking to try out something new.
It is a Chicago based independent promotion which has been in business since 2004. And who started really hitting their stride and gaining momentum in 2013 after being a...
It just goes to show how much emotion means in a promo. 99% this promo was planned beforehand. But the Miz was allowed to speak from the heart with it, there was a lot of real life emotion in it and that connects with people.
It's pretty obvious listening to the promos on Smackdown over all...
The punt being brought back was not a shoot. Brock is the resident final boss of the WWE landscape. Any wrestler going up against him has to try and hit him with their ultra finisher in hopes of winning, the punt is Orton's ultra.
If you think Randy would be using moves like DDTs or the punt with all the theatrics involved in a shoot fight. I suggest you watch more legitimate fighting.
Brock was always scripted to win. The question is how many liberties did he take with Orton. But Orton was always losing.
He's facing Mikey Gall at UFC 203 on September 10.
I'm not going to watch this documentary series since I have no interest in watching CM Phillip. The dude is a big mark for himself and while I respect what he did in pro wrestling, that does not mean I want to watch him actually compete in...
The show was a hot mess with bad pacing that left the crowd ragged.
But booing the belt was fucking dumb. If you wanna boo it a little bit then fine, but don't spend the entire match doing it.
Probably yeah. But nothing wrong with it either. I think it would be smarter for Smackdown to see slow and steady ratings increase. Rather than having a big spike and dropping down because they can't figure out how to maintain it.
Like Roadster said, it will be interesting to see the ratings...
After reviewing the injury and re-watching it. I'm more akin to Matt Morgan's opinion on it which was posted over on Wrestlinginc, that Balor injures himself. Balor moves himself so he's sticking out his shoulder and arm during the bump, so rather than take the bump square over his back...
The attitude era is very much a roller coaster of quality. A lot of peaks, and a whole lot of valleys. But people tend to look back on it with the rose tinted nostalgia goggles.
It's worth looking back at since it is arguably the biggest era of wrestling, but don't go in expecting just straight...
