    General Puro Discussion Thread

NOAH has no G+ airings until June, and none confirmed in June yet. That's bad news. Like, real bad. G+ is a sub brand of Nippon TV and is one of the biggest sports channels in Japan. NOAH has made a living out of airings their big shows on G+. So getting no shows for two months is a real punch...

He's probably out for the rest of the year. Hematomas can differ so much in recovery time and quality of recovery depending on the person. Not to mention all his other injuries he's been working through (shoulders, cervical etc). Dudes a trooper but odds are if he returns it won't be as the same...

    2016 - 2017 Football Season Discussion Thread

Good week for my Spurs. Solid 2-0 win at Burnley last Saturday, then the fantastic comeback at Swansea on Wednesday to win 1-3, and then finishing it off with the 4-0 win over Watford on the weekend. Extending our record setting unbeaten at the Lane run to 11. Fitting that we set a new record...

Where does Reigns go from here?

Regarding Brock/Reigns at Summerslam: If it happens I could see it ending up a draw/Brock win/screwed finish. Their first match ended up screwy with the cash in so a draw/Brock win seems likely. Then they do the third match at Mania as a rubber match of sort. Also I agree 100% that they should...

    JBL responds to bullying

Vince will find a new tool. It's how he entertains himself. Like Roberts writes in his book, it's his entertainment. He wants it on some level as a way of keeping the talent down and not making too many demands.

    JBL responds to bullying

Because JBL bullied the fanbase/the webs new favorite commentator into a depression relapse and effectively out of the company since Mauro is not coming back by all accounts. That freakily enough co-incided with Roberts book releasing and a bunch of talent approaching guys like Meltzer and...

    JBL responds to bullying

Found another story about JBL trying to bully people and getting his ass handed to him. Here's Hardcore Holly detailing JBL trying to bully Blackman and Blackman knocking him around Also, imagine that car ride. Hardcore Holly, Ken Shamrock and Steve fucking Blackman

language is also a factor. It's easier to poach an American who has worked in Japan (money, less international travel etc) than poaching a Japanese star (relocating them and their family, learning a new language etc)

    JBL responds to bullying

JBL bullying people in WWE is well documented. Ask the Miz, Blue Meanie, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Christian, Joey Styles, Jonathan Coachman and Mark Henry. All whom have spoken out about JBL being a piece of shit to them. It's funny that the only thing he denies is stealing Roberts' passport...

The Goto "choke artist" thing is more gimmick than real life. He's booked that way for some reason. He's held every heavyweight belt they have except for the world title. But he's also had a tremendous 2016 since he joined CHAOS and became their second in command. He's one of my favs. What you...

Would you agree that this recent Wrestlemania event(WM33) was much better...

Yup. Mania 30 was when Cesaro Andréslammed Big Show out of the memorial battle royal to win the giant chocolate André the Giant

    The Undertaker will return....

Thanks. I still say Taker is retired since Pac is Pac and Pac has a bit of a different mindset and is still actively wrestling himself. Taker basically has to have surgery whenever he has a match now. That has to be a red light for him.

    The Undertaker will return....

Taker also has a housing/real estate business (I have found no reports of it being closed so I assume it is still active) with a friend of his so he has other ways of getting money. He shouldn't need to come back to wrestling for the money

    Finn Balor

Like you mentioned it could happen down the road. There's also the draft/sweep/whatever next week so they might be waiting for after that in case Vince gets it in his head to send either of them to Smackdown. Also it is worth noting that Vince does not expect his fans to remember things like that.

    The Undertaker will return....

Yeah. Taker is done. The dude has way too much respect for the business and knows that leaving your boots/your gear in the ring means you are retired, done, finished etc. The dude is not going to show up in November and go "LOL JOKEZ I'M BACK!" Does not fit the Mark Calaway who most of us...

    This Is My Yard Now

People who think Roman sucks seem to have pretty peculiar tastes in wrestling. He literally does nothing wrong. The dude hasn't had a legit bad match since getting promoted and he has his act down. As for the "anyone gets a reaction in the main event spot" argument. See Lashley, Bobby and...

    This Is My Yard Now

Roman was great in that segment and he did what he could dragging 52 year old Undertaker's corpse around for that match. Taker is the greatest performer in the history of Wrestlemania, but he should have hung it up a long time ago. Reigns is maybe not ready to full on lead a match, but he...
