    I feel like they need to have a TNA act win an NXT Title and Masha is the most appropriate choice. So I'd rather Masha win for that reason alone

    I understand it I just find it sudden given that Santana and Hendry both feuded with The System relatively recently if I recall.

    yeah that was my issue. They started the TNA vs. NXT feud. Face/Heel out the window, Name on the front of the jersey more important than the name on the back.
