    I think that's what's missing from a lot of discussion today. I'm firmly of the belief that the majority of people want some sort of compromise. The issue is that the extremists on one side or the other are so hard line and will not compromise, and are so vocal about it that it kills discussion.

    That's exactly it too. A lot of liminal space images play on nostalgia or fragments of memories. Like, I swear I've been in this pool before. I know I haven't, but it reminds me a lot of all the Holiday Inn pools I was at when I was like 12. It's eerie.

    Did anyone here read any of the Alvin Schwartz series "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark"? I used to read them a lot in middle school and I think they're what really got me interested in urban legends, scary stories, and creepy pastas in general.
