    The definition of quality?

Now I know this is a subjective term so opinions will be welcomed here. The term High Quality has been thrown around a couple of times recently, ranging from Dolph's questioning the term in relation to his Best In The World award to Deth and Lady Deathbane taking the "lol hq" mocking stance. I...

    Rank the Kliq

Long ass post in spoiler Short version 1 HBK 2 Scott Hall] 3 HHH 4 Nash 5 Waltman Out of these 5 members how do you rank them, basing it on nothing but your enjoyment of them.

Is this a possible loophole in the MITB principle?

Now I know the case is for a world heavyweight championship match but it's also covered in Smackdown branding and DZ won it in the Smackdown match set up by Booker T so if the WWE title got drafted over to Smackdown could he cash in on that instead? Now I know the brandsplit is dead but I can't...

    Quote the Raven never more.

In this thread we pay homage to one of the greatest psychological wrestlers of all time, his grunge look managed to blend into the chaos of ECW. His cold interviews are stuff of wrestling legend, no one captured a dark character with the exception of Jake the Snake IMO. Sure he was never a...

    Your views on heel referees

I'm trying to get more and more into Lucha Libre, specifically CMLL I'm noticing it's more and more common for a match to involve a referee with a deliberate bias, a great example is the match below, the slow counts are the main storytelling aspect within it. Every count either makes you expect...

Have you seen a 5* match from 2013 yet?

So far I haven't from any company. The only ones I can think of which have come close are Tanahashi / Okada at WrestleKingdom 7, Nakumura vs Sakuraba and Rush vs El Terrible mainly due to the slow counting heel ref telling a great story. Cena vs Punk is a contender too odly enough.

Doesn't work, it just refreshes the page for me.

Will AJ cling to this opportunity this time?

I know there are a lot of threads regarding AJ currently but they've seemed intent on making him a big star a few times and he's never really clicked to the role IMO, plus he got awful stop start booking which didn't help and a little bit of bad luck along the way. Examples from recent years...

WrestleMania A Bray Wyatt thread not by Stopspot

Now I don't watch NXT too much although along with DG:USA it's on my to do list so my opinion may not be as well thought out as it I tend to think it is but still here we go. Bray Wyatt is a phenomenal speaker we all know that, if you don't see the video below...

New Japan : The cult of personality is taking over.

New Japan Pro Wrestling is the pinnacle of Puro, it boasts the Japanese John Cena in Hiroshi Tananhashi, the hottest young gun in Okada aswell as many great American imports including Alex Shelley and Karl Anderson. Now why have I chosen these as examples rather than the excellent Nakamura for...

Where does this idea come from for a bad ass Daniel Bryan?

People are screaming from the rooftops about this mythical gimmick he apparently portrayed in the past however it's just that a complete myth, the best Bryan Danielson is the one without a gimmick. That is how he spent the majority of his days throughout the independant scene, he never...

The most questionable world title reigns...

Now whenever these threads are usually made Russo or Arquette usually win and rightly so, however these were won in companies where wrestling played second fiddle to entertainment so they made some contored sense. Now the one reign which always bugged me was when James Gibson (Jamie Noble) was...

    Seabs' recommended matches.

Yeah it's a poor man's rip off of Testify's thread in the legends section but still let's go. I'll do a match a week, showing why I feel you should watch it and a star rating it probably won't be awfully long as it's all about the wrestling. It'll generally be shit that I watched recently and...

Has anyone been more consistent than Austin Aries since he returned?

Now this isn't a Best in the world thread or even a best in the company thread, this is based around being consistently great. No other talent on the TNA roster or any roster for that matter seem to manage to be at their peak no matter where they're placed on the card, whether they've been...

    Vince Russo should return

Now before you reach for the pitchforks just hear me out, now he wouldn't be a booker or even have any creative input. He'd be a manager, the ultimate heel manager, it'd be easy to make people hate him as well most people just do. His accent grates, he's a decent mic worker and his heat he would...

Jericho's return, what was the point?

No we all know he loves to put people over, so that explains the Ziggler interaction at the Rumble however why has he stuck around? He went in to the EC and jobbed without really lending anything to anyone and he's currently off the card and seemingly likely to just have some kind of match...

    Aries vs Danielson

First of all this is an excuse to post Danielson vs Aries in a two out of three falls with Punk on commentary. Secondly it stil is astonishing to me that these guys who were indie wrestling in the early years broke the engimas to become both WWE champions walking into their biggest shows and...

Samoa Joe - Why can't they crack the code with him...

At one point this fat ass Samoan was the hottest commidity in this delighful little company known as Total Nonstop Action, which at the time boasted Sting, Angle and Nash amongst it's imports plus homegrown stars such as Mr TNA AJ Styles. He broke the X Division mould in how a wrestler should...
