    Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread I'm sure some teams want other teams contracted. But it will never be in the best interests of the league to contract, because you'd be killing basketball entirely in that market. On top of that, it wouldn't mesh with Stern's stated desire to go global.

    IMO Shanahan in Washington = bigger fail. McNabb's never been perfect, but to misuse him like this and to go back and forth the way they have? A month ago, huge extension (with an opt out clause which they'll now obv go with). Now? Ruling him out as the starter next season already? I don't care...
