One thing unique about him, or at least it's an interesting trait, is how much you hated him during his four hour cold open on RAW, but genuinely wanted to see his matches on PPV. They were almost always good.
Not to be morbid here, but I always thought Triple H would live forever compared to his Kliq brothers, being the most sensible of the group. It's never guaranteed though, and we're seeing how fragile it all is.
