    Scott Pilgrim is awesome. House of 1000 Corpses is awesome. Forrest Gump is awesome. Like that you guys are actually going after popular movies though and not the ones basically everybody hates.

    True Grit I haven't seen the original, although I really should. Red Dawn we could do because I've seen both and I think I'd have a differing opinion than most, even though I don't think either movie is really any good. :p

    He wrote the first two Star Trek's though, so it's not like he's stepping in without experience. Don't see why he can't do it again. The directing though is what I'm curious about, but with the experience of writing the movies and knowing the cast and everything should help him out.
