Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

That's true actually, but in terms of that point me being scum with extra info was very minimal in why I thought he was insane cop. You can go read that through again if you like but 99% of that was from theme knowledge if I remember right

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

    Yeah that's what I'm saying

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Yeah which is what caused me to consider indy as a possibility upon the reread. I.e. once all conditions are filled he fulfills his win condition, he has to give out all gifts etc.

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Specifically this post I'm referring to. The whole pre-requisites thing
  5. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Eh I'll own it. As I was re-reading his initial posts the vagueness of it could be attributed to an indy win condition so I wavered in that sense. I do find it far more likely he's just standard town however

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

The way he discussed his role drew significantly more attention to him than scum Lethal would try to do
  7. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Which portion? I mean how he came out very vague with the almost batshit way he was talking about his role. I don't believe that's how scum Lethal would play it. Outside chance of indy but I'd be more inclined to think he's town.
  8. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

I was assuming Lethal was responsible for the initial gift giving vote. I dunno what the apple is but Lethal hadn't claimed it to be him
  9. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

I'm pretty sure. I asked that at start of day
  10. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

    The apple wasn't Lethal's gift
  11. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

In what sense, that the gift was announced prior to his entry? Yes I'm aware. Hence my point that how he came out with it, with the vagueness that he put into it etc. that it's definitely not how scum lethal would play it

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

This is legit the most basic of basics you sock, I thought you were meant to be the GOAT
  13. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

I'm not telling you at all that it makes no sense to claim the role as scum, I'm saying the way he has played this role is not how a scum lethal would play this role. Take last game for example, as you said earlier he buried himself in juice until he slipped by quoting flavour. Couple games...

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

He would be very unlikely to get away clean as is. Assume a vote count of 5 for majority for example. Player's 1, 2, 3 and 4 are voting someone. Player 5 votes player 3 and in the next vote count, player 3 randomly has 2 votes and player 5's count is absent. Pretty obviously suspect
  15. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Scums power is indeed that, but there's 0 utility in an obvious vote swap that is easily observable both in missing vote and randomly added extra vote at the final count. As for the bottom that's pretty standard game balance, any borderline useless roles are significantly more likely to be town...
  16. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Absolutely doesn't get away clean as he's already proven the role and his lack of vote would be easily visible in the end of day vote count. It's pretty far fetched lad. And my play based reasons have a lot of merit as for why Lethal is town, factoring in how he plays. Your insistence otherwise...
  17. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Eh, you're putting a lot more stock in his initial reads than I am, I read that as a lot more of 'these were the people on the wagon but I don't think they're scummy from it' than outright they're town. But even so I can concede the point he didn't explain them. That said, that post still...
  18. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

I see you're desperate to keep up that streak of every time someone tells me I'm good guying I flip town. It's almost as if I don't defend people unless I'm genuinely confident they're town I'm saying he absolutely does not draw as much attention to himself as he did. And you're almost...
  19. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Nah you can't be that daft, he's a gift giver who can give out free votes in addition to his role, and absolutely no way he plays the role like this if he's scum
  20. Doddsy

Murder On The Orient Express [A Detective's Adventure Part I]

Yeah I'm piggybacking Odo while actively disagreeing on his other reads for all them sweet town points. But in actuality, 99% of what you're trying to attribute as scum motivation here is bullshit. This is bullshit, many people actively type their responses as they read, myself included...
