    I usually try to avoid commenting on my work in my own battle threads until most of the votes have come through, but in regards to the cartoon thing I was going for more of a fun, playful piece. It clashes with everything stylistically but I was going for something more lighthearted.

    The next step should be learning how to implement lighting. You should also put renders underneath gradient maps and play with the blending mode on gradient maps.

    LC4: Lewbrication v. The_King

    The King, hands down. I kinda see what Lewb was going for but its got too many logos and renders, when you have too much to look at it all starts battling for attention and the whole thing begins to look unfocused. The King had a simple idea and executed it well.
