  1. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! Hardy wasn't really a heel in ROH. His first couple of appearances with the company went off well with people cheering him. It was only after he returned to Raw that the fans booed him in ROH.
  2. Define WCW In Your Own Words

WCW was a company doomed from the start. A company owned by a guy who didn't know the wrestling business meant WCW could never compare against a company ran by a guy who was a wrestling owner. Yet, while the WWE went into the direction of Sports Entertainment in 1984, JCP/WCW stayed true to pro...
  3. Pro Wrestling Banned In Oklahoma

This isn't too uncommon of a thing. The WWE stayed out of Oregon for a full decade due to sanctions not making it worth it. My guess is that this will only last until Oklahoma realizes that they're losing this good income from MMA/WWE.
  4. Road Warrior Animal Says Sting Isn’t An Icon

To some extent, I feel Animal is correct. Is Sting an Icon? In some ways yes, in others, perhaps not. For wrestling fans, especially older ones, there isn't any question that Sting's an icon. He was the face of WCW and the one guy who remained in a critical position in the company without ever...
  5. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! There's no way a ROH match will be included on Punk's DVD. At best, I imagine Punk will briefly talk about his pre-WWE career during the bio. Names like ROH, Ace Steel and Colt Cabana will all be mentioned. Perhaps a still photograph or two will be shown. I can't...
  6. Best Horror Villain - Haddonfield Region Round 2

    1. Michael Myers Angela had a pretty good reason for starting her killing spree, even if she eventually learned to love it. Michael's motives were always a little less known. For most of the movies, he was just a giant question mark. Add in the fact that Myers is so much more well known and...
  7. Best Horror Villain - Transylvania Region Round 2

    1. Dracula He's the single most legendary vampire around. Besides, Gage's parent's wouldn't have had a problem had they just buried their boy in a normal cemetery. 2. Pennywise The big thing with Pennywise compared to the Alien is intent. By all means, the Alien is just an animal. All it...
  8. Best Horror Villain - Crystal Lake Region Round 2

    1. Cujo A zombie machete wielding maniac in a hockey mask that has mommy issues? Meh, I can't imagine I'll ever come across that. Now, a rabid large dog who's more than a little eager at having a side of "Jim" for dinner? That seems a little more likely. Once you get past the scary factor of...
  9. Best Horror Villain - Elm Street Region Round 2

    1. N/A Due to not seeing Slumber Party Massacre 2. The Tall Man Hannibal may be more of a legendary character, but he's sorta a good guy too. In all of the movies, he's not the main villain. He's just the feared "Good" maniac. The Tall Man is your classic horror villain, thus he moves on...
  10. Best Horror Villain - Elm Street Region

    1. Freddy Forget about what Freddy did in your nightmares. He was a kidnapping, murdering and molesting villain when he was alive. He could very easily win this all. 2. Helena Markos The Wolf Man was the most sympathetic creature in Universal Monster movies history. 3. Pinhead Ha...
  11. Best Horror Villain - Transylvania Region

    1. Dracula Possibly the most famous villain of all time. I can't hate the killer from the Collector since he allowed for that awesome nude scene. 2. N/A I haven't seen House on Sorority Row. Although, I don't see Leatherface as a very hatable guy. He's sympathetic so I imagine he...
  12. Best Horror Villain - Crystal Lake Region

    1. Jason Voorhees Granted, I don't feel Jason should go too far because he was pretty sympathetic. However, when it comes to the Paranormal Activity series, I find the real villains to be Katie's family. A demon may be evil, but you wouldn't expect anything else. It was her family that kept...
  13. There's other regions?

    There's other regions?
  14. Cartoon Wrestler Avatars

Honestly, these are probably the coolest wrestling avatars ever.
  15. Best Horror Villain - Haddonfield Region

    1. Michael Myers Appeared in many more films than Vera and was just an evil bastard. Vera was more of just an overprotective mother. 2. Chucky Happy Birthday to Me rules, but Chucky was an evil guy before dying and he was even more bad as a doll. 3. The Creeper In order to be the...
  16. PWG: World's Finest

Richards' is going to be in Japan. So his match against O'Reilly is off with Alex Koslov taking Davey's spot. I see Edwards in having little to no real chance of winning the belt. He's just a major indy name that has been built up for these random title shots like Roddy Strong in the past. I...
  17. PWG: World's Finest

I wasn't referring to Avalon. He's been around for a little over a year now. However, since he is partners with Ray Rosas, it makes sense to include him in a little more exposure for the Brandon Bonhams.
  18. Trademark issues.

    Trademark issues.
  19. Senseless Things Throughout Wrestling History

All of that heel work by DiBiase was fine and well, but it's small time stuff. Any heel is a jerk enough to be mean to fans or other wrestlers. It takes a real heel to set up a master plan to "Win" the WWE World Title without actually stepping in the ring. DiBiase's actions at The Main Event...
  20. WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2012 Discussion

He also injured The Undertaker, Crush and Jim Duggan in storylines. Why do you keep bringing up Yoko only wrestling for five years when you acknowledge Abby working for decades in other companies? Yoko was wrestling for nearly two decades.
