In fairness, you'll notice the tweet says "They asked..." as in the WWE asked that he return at that point. Beyond that, you don't know whether or not he wanted to be around sooner or more often, if he took those roles because the WWE didn't have a set date for him, or what the situation really is. -

It can't be season 6 because they stopped saying season 5? That makes no sense. RAW and Smackdown have seasons that WWE never mentions on air. NXT can still be its own show, without the competition aspect, and be in its 6th season whether they refer to it that way or not on air. -

Well, technically it would have to be a season. RAW and Smackdown have seasons too. Just because it may be referred to as a season doesn't mean the show isn't dropping the competition aspect and becoming more like WWE's other programming. I would love to know where you heard it was be referred... -
