    Qualifying was pretty fun. I don’t usually get to watch it. Ford showed some speed, which has been rare this year. Glad to see Chastain starting P2. I like Kansas, so tomorrow should be a good one for me.

    I called my dad as soon as it ended and his first words were "What the hell was the 34 doing on that block?!" In the post-race, McDowell said, "I'll have to watch the replay to see what happened." Somebody needs to tell him that he doesn't wanna see it. It wasn't good for him.

    sad part is, I drive a Tundra, but I really don’t like the Toyota camp. Truex is alright. I don’t actively dislike bell or jones, but I really don’t like the others.
