Gilbert Melendez vs. Pat Healy headlines Strikeforce's September event

Atleast it's not Thompson again. Have to go with Gil here though.
  2. No More Sorrow

Tim Boetsch Claims He Can Submit Anderson Silva

 No. I honestly think Tim will never get a shot at Silva anyways so it doesn't matter.

Rory MacDonald Warns B.J. Penn to Get Focused

Man i want Penn to win this fight so bad, i know it's not going to happen though.

Dominick Cruz Speaks On His Recovery

I'm honestly pumped to see this fight whenever it does happen, be a nice to change to see Cruz fighting somebody who's last name isn't Faber.

    Eddie Alvarez's Next Fight Scheduled

This is his last fight under contract with Bellator, expect UFC to throw a ton of money at him to get him to jump ship over to the UFC.

Vitor Belfort And Alan Belcher Agree To Fight At UFC 153 In Brazil

Pretty much expected this to happen, has the potential to be a great fight. I'm not so sold on Alan Belcher yet though so I'll go with Belfort here.

Gabriel Gonzaga Speaks On Recovery, Possible Return Date

Could see him fighting at UFC 153, read a rumor that he and Big Nog are in the works for a fight at 153. So far that show has Aldo-Koch as its mainevent and they've got Rampage-Glover Texira co-main eventing for the time being.
  8. No More Sorrow

Vitor Belfort Up For Chris Weidman Bout, But Still Wants Rematch With Silva

I think the Belfort/Weidman fight would be pretty good. Alan Belcher has been hinting on twitter though that he's going to be fighting Belfort at UFC 153 so we'll have to wait and see.

Rich Franklin Fine With Fighting Cung Le, But Doesn't Feel Like It Helps His Standing

I like the Franklin/Le fight and hope it actually happens. I honestly though don't see either of these guys getting title shots so neither should be worried about their positioning in the division.

Ryan Bader Talks About His Prep For Machida Bout

Bader is pretty controlling his own destiny at this point., if he wins this fight with Machida and probably two more fights he’ll be in the mix for a title shot. Maybe he’ll get Thiago Silva or something up next if he wins here.

Pettis Aiming For October Return Complete With UFC Title Shot

I think Nate Diaz is rightfully deserving of the #1 Contendership. Pettis is in the mix but I think he should have to fight either Jim Miller, Gray Maynard or Donald Cerrone and win impressively before we really talk about him getting a shot for the title.

Jamie Varner Speaks On Upcoming Fight On Fox

If Varner comes into this fight looking as impressive as he did when he fought Edson Barboza then there's no way he can lose the fight. I'd like to see him match up against the winner of Guillard/Cerrone after this upcoming fight with Lauzon.

Hector Lombard Rules Out A Move To The Welterweight Division

Even with the loss this past weekend, i agree that he should stay at 185. Give him Munoz or something that's what he was lobbying for awhile back anyways. Makes sense also as both are coming off of loses and what not.
  14. No More Sorrow

Dominick Cruz Excited For Barao Fight

I'm actually looking forward to this fight as well, I think Barao takes it. The dude seems unstoppable and this combined with the fact that Cruz hasn't fought in forever and is going to be coming into this fight with a surgically repaired ACL-MCL is why i'm leaning towards Barao. Going to be a...

Despite Loss, Urijah Faber Plans To Remain A Bantamweight

It's crazy how many title shots he's had. Surprised he doesn't drop weight classes honestly, he'd be one of the more talented fighters at 125.

Tim Sylvia Signs With Strikeforce, Meets Daniel Cormier In September

I can't believe i'm actually posting this shit. Only good thing i guess is we get to see Sylvia get knocked on his ass.
  17. No More Sorrow

UFC Wants Cung Le vs. Rich Franklin at UFC on FUEL TV 6

Fight makes sense, going with Franklin though if it does happen.
  18. No More Sorrow

Jose Aldo vs. Erik Koch Headlines UFC 153 In Brazil

Too bad Zombie had to have surgery, this fight sucks.
  19. No More Sorrow

    Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy Ratings

Pretty much in line with the rest of the shows they've done this year, although i thought the last two shows they've done have been way better than what the ratings say and much better than what the UFC puts on at times.

Cormier May Move To Light-Heavy Weight To Avoid Teammate Cain Velasquez

I wouldn't want to fight Velasquez right now either teammate or not. I'm not sure about this though, I'd like to see what he can do at heavyweight honestly.
