WWF World Champion: Randy Savage-27/3/88
WWF Intercontinental Champion: Honky Tonk Man-13/6/87
WWF Tag Team Champions: Demolition-27/3/88

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
May 28th, 1988
Duluth, MN

File is only 33 minutes, so something is missing sadly.

Match#1 Jake Roberts vs Barry Horowitz
Another very good 90 seconds for Jake as this seems to be his new time limit, and Barry at least can make that work better than anyone else. Jake wins with the DDT.
*1/2

Post match, Barry meets Damien for the 50th time.

WWF Update-
-Lord Alfred covers the Ken/Bravo tug of war.

Match#2 Bad News Brown vs Mike Richards
News gets shorted at a little over a minute in a lame call. He rips the kids head off in brutal and awesome fashion as quickly as he can, but i wish it was longer. News has a cut in saying 19 spiders couldn't stop him at Mania, so there's no way two guys in pretty pink will stop his reign of terror. He wins with the Blaster.
*1/4

The Anvil enjoys an Ice Cream Bar.

Match#3 Strike Force vs Rick Renslow & Dave Wagner
The fellas get 3 minutes as they won the coin toss i guess, and it's a killer, killer outing of the best kind. Martel destroys an arm and blasts people as fast as he can, and Tito is a timeless all timer that does everything as perfectly as he can. The Rougeau's have a cut in asking for a clean match with the former champions!!!! Tito takes the win with his Forearm.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Hacksaw has his sight set on Andre's nasty forehead. He knows Andre doesn't know what kind of man he is, well he's someone who will never stop coming and getting up and he will not and can't give up. TOUGH GUY.
-Demo are in for a good fight because they hurt them when they hit them, and they want this. Ax says Warrior is going to be an ultimate idiot who is in a war with Strike Force in the middle of it.

Match#4 Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Brady Boone
Jesse says Brutus had it coming after Mania IV, and he laughs about Honky hitting him. Good squash for Honky as he's does what he does best with good looking strikes and fun stooging and stalling. HTM has a cut in saying the tune he played on Brutus wasn't quite right, but it is getting better. Honky wins with the SRR.
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-Warrior says he comes from a place where they fall at his feet, and he's going to destroy them. SF repeat their last promo.
-Bret says he's got 30 minutes to finish the job. He's fought his entire life as well, and he's the greatest techincal wrestler in the world. He's one person he should have never double crossed, and he's going down the hard way.

Match#5 Junkyard Dog vs Tim Patterson.
THUMP AND FUCK OFF

Stage Interview-
-Ted & Virgil are the guests.
-Craig says he's been using Virgil to help him, and Ted says he doesn't want to hear his biased WWF opinion. Randy was manhandled by his bodyguard and beaten pillar to post. The only time he got involved was when the referee wasn't doing his job, or Elizabeth was sticking her nose into it.
-Craig asks what kind of man would hide behind a woman, and Ted says he would do whatever he needs anything to intimidate him, and if that means grabbing her than he will do it. She means nothing to him as she's a woman in a man's sport, and she can go back to the kitchen if she can't take the heat.
-Randy choked on his money and it won't be bill next time, it will be his fist, He won't have money. glory or Elizabeth, When the money and glory go, you lose the women. He's never lost a woman because he's always had what they wanted, and maybe Elizabeth will be the million dollar woman when this is over.

WWF World Champion: Randy Savage-27/3/88
WWF Intercontinental Champion: Honky Tonk Man-13/6/87
WWF Tag Team Champions: Demolition-27/3/88

WWF Wrestling Challenge
May 29th, 1988
Rochester, MN

Match#1 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Jim Evans

Rude gets 90 to work and goes right to it with a great beating of the kid, He's now got this wonderful snap on everything he hits, and it's a sweet thing to get to see it unfold in real time. He wins with the RA.
*3/4

Post match, he kisses another woman.

WWF Special Report-
-Sean covers the attack on Brutus.

Match#2 Bret Hart vs Pete Sanchez
Bret gets 2 minutes and rocks the joint one again. I know he's one of the best ever, but it's still mind blowing to see how easy he became a singles guy in the matter of weeks when the push happened. Jimmy Hart has a cut in saying there's some problems right now with HF, but they'll get them worked out so don't panic. Heenan does an amazing job of siding with Jimmy and blaming Bret, and it's one of those moments where you remember how vital he truly is. Bret wins with the Piledriver.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Bobby says Hacksaw is a run of the mill redneck bum, and Andre is going to show him a different way of things. Andre again promises to choke him because he loves to choke people, and he will laugh as he does it.
-Duggan says he has dreams and Andre tried to take them away, so he's not backing from him or this fight. He's going to show him something he's never seen before, a man whose not afraid of him.

Match#3 Ron Bass vs Ricky Ataki
Bass is still a good squash guy even if the JYD feud has show he's sort of a lazy bum when it actually counts. He wins with his pedigree after a fun squash.
*

Match#4 The Ultimate Warrior vs Terry Gibbs

Much better squash as he only does power stuff and chucking Gibbs around, and it's what he does best so sticking to that is the answer. Lombardi has a cut in saying Warrior is dangerous and can't be stopped. Warrior wins with the combo
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-Jake says the devil himself would tell him that Rude committed no crime, but it was the ultimate sin for him touching something that's not his.

Match#5 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs Mike Richards
Another sick one for Greg clobbering and smashing this poor, poor bastard. Heenan and Gorilla talk about all the knees that Hammer has ruined since he got here, and it's amazing to hear it all again. They gave a cut in showing Jimmy putting the shin protector on as Jimmy says it's there road to the gold. Gorilla doubts he's hurt as he heard nothing, and Bobby says he could have a cut on his shin for all we know. Hammer batters the kid and kills the knee, and locks in the Figure Four with the Protector to win.
**

Stage Interview-
-Hillbilly Jim shows up to call people hillbillies and promote being on a local show.
-Nice use of my time.

They replay Randy/Virgil in full along with the aftermath.

Match#6 The Bolsheviks w/Slick vs Buck Zumhoff & Warren Bianchi
Son of a bitch, no. Only 90 seconds thankfully, but you can feel every microsecond as these fat terrible jokers move at a snails pace as they do the worst looking offence possible. Nik beats one of these scumbags with a backbreaker.
POOP

WWF Events Center-
-Dino says Ken and his records are the past while he's the present.

Rick Rude & Andre The Giant w/Bobby Heenan vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Jake Roberts (31/5)
Not sure what show this took place on as Tony Schiavone is on commentary a year before his debut, so if anyone knows please tell me. Andre chokes Hacksaw as promised as he jerks his head back and forth in a gross, gross way. Rude helps to beat the shit out of him, but he misses a knee and the faces go on a flurry knocking the piss out of them. Andre gets tied in the ropes, and the face pick Rude up and ram his head into Andre chest!!! Rude gets beaten, but Andre gets free and knocks Jake to the ground with a headbutt so the heels can isolate him in a super fun control seg. Andre uses his singlet to choke Jake like a big bully, and Rude lays in a ton of wicked looking shots. Jake survives the fight, and Hacksaw crotches Rude on the topes to get some breathing space for Jake. Duggan finally tags in and goes nuts as hell on them, but Andre knees him in the face to stop him in his tracks. Rude beats on him for a while again until Jake is able to punch him in the face and tag in as it all breaks down as it tends to. Rude has Jake set up for the RA, but Hacksaw hits him in the ribs and Jake falls on top to get the win.

File is again 31 minutes, and apparently we're missing a Rude squash and the update. Not a great loss, but still annoying.

Match#1 The Bolsheviks vs Billy Bowman & Ricky Ataki
Of course this couldn't be missing because my promise to watch everything until i can't take anymore is truly being tested. Two terrible minutes from them as is the norm. Just fire them and move the fuck on from this dead act. Nik wins with his bad backbreaker.
1/9*

Match#2 The Ultimate Warrior vs Steve Lombardi

Guess Warrior heard what Steve said about him on Challenge and wants to kill him now. He's doing better again focusing on being violent and rough, and cutting down on the horrible punches. Lombardi eats tons of shit of course, and that's the best. Warrior wins with the Combo.
*1/2

WWF Events Center-
-Bobby & Andre don't say or add anything new as it's been a month of these promos now.
-Bammer says he can hear the Gods and he doesn't care about that. He thinks about what he's going to do to Hercules and the missing link of the chain after he burns him.

Match#3 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Buck Zumhoff
Short one for Ted at 90 seconds, but he's still stiffing the shit out of a scumfuck for the entire thing, so it rules for that alone. HE BOOTS HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE. FUCK YEAH, TED. He keeps killing him and wins with the MDD.
*3/4

Post match, he shoves money down the assholes throat. Shame he didn't choke to death.

WWF Events Center-
-Ted says Randy cant slide out to run away or get help from Elizabeth this time. Don't forget she's out there with Virgil hahahahahahaha. All he needs to do is put the MDD on and put him to sleep and climb out to get his title.
-News says he could have beaten Bret in 30 seconds, but he wanted to make him pay. He's got an extra 10 minutes to enjoy before he finally finishes him off.

Eat and buy the Ice Cream Bar.

Match#4 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs Frankie DeFalco
Stupid Dino does stupid bad wrestling for 90 seconds. Stupid power moves and stupid offence before winning with his stupid Sidewalk Slam.
STUPID

Stage Interview-
-The Fabulous Rougeau's are here!!
-Raymond talks about how much they love America, and Jaques tells him to say it was fabulous each time he praises it in a great bit. Ray mentions some sights they've seen such as Washington Memorial and the Lincoln Monument, and Vince is not happy, and neither is the crowd as the boo the hell out of him for messing the names up. he says there's still 15-20% of fans booing them, and he thinks it's because of Dino, and he assures them they have nothing to do with him. Jaques says they're sincere and he brings out the tiny American flags and calls them fabulous, speaks French and then leads a USA chant. This is SO good.

Match#5 Brutus Beefcake vs Tony Stone
This is not good at all as Brutus is the worst ever. He wins with a sleeper after another bad squash.
1/3*

Post match, he cuts the kids hair.

Match#6 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs J.T Thomas
Greg is finally given 3 minutes and holy crap is it a mean and fantastic ass kicking and then some as he fucking kills the poor kids body. Just a barrage of cool and gross stuff from the Hammer. He puts on the shin locked Figure Four to win.
**

Post match, the jobber is helped to the back as he can't stand on his own.

Next week. Demolition vs Young Stallions

WWF Boston Gardens-4/6

Match#1 Don Muraco vs One Man Gang
They trade big punches to start and both men look really good throwing haymakers Don trips him and goes after the legs and does some fine work, but still lazy as he's clearly aware he's not staying for long. Gang's selling is good stuff for a guy never tasked with such a thing, and he fights like a turtle on its back trying to get back up and it's a cool way to do it. Gang gets back up and smashes him with forearms and sells the hell of his bad knee while doing it!! OMG keeps beating on him and works a bearhug for a while, and it's good as he looks like he's truly trying to crush him instead of being lazy about it. Don fights out and whiffs on a dropkick to send OMG backwards into the buckle as he got nothing but air on it. They eventually fight on the outside and OMG misses a charge and knocks himself out on the post and is counted out.
*3/4

OMG attacks him for a while, but Don drives him away and celebrates with SBG on commentary. Haven't mentioned that, but he's doing commentary for live events and stinks at it.

In the back, News shits on Boston's sports teams, and says Bret has nothing for brains as one man can win a battle royal, so how did he think they would share it? He's going down tonight because no man in fruit pink is beating a real man in black.

Match#2 Bad News Brown vs Bret Hart
Bret unloads with a mule kick and rams him his head into the buckles and beats the crap out of him, and angry Bret Hart absolutely rules. New's gets cracked and sells his ass off as he takes some big bumps and runs away like a coward. He gets Hart to chase him and catches him with a knee to the head under the ropes, and he reigns down a killer beating with headbutts and awesome strikes. He's just a mean motherfucker for the entire thing, and Bret takes a wicked belting as he shows off the soon to be famous selling that only a few people have ever done as well as him. News really shows off as he's dropping gross running elbows to the head and body, and getting as dirty as he can. News slingshots him throat first into the bottom rope to mess him, and he gets more violent after. He goes for the Blaster, but Bret ducks it and makes a sweet comeback throwing him into the buckles and into the floor and then hitting a sick plancha. New tries to punch him, but he misses and hits the post to hurt his hand.
Bret stays on him and does all his cool offence but he can't put him away, and it turns into a gritty back and forth. Bret gets a victory roll, but News reverses it and gets the tights to steal it. Borderline, but i dug a lot, so fuck it.
***

Match#3 Bam Bam Bigelow vs Hercules
Happy to see Bammer finally get to do something new after being without a proper feud since the OMG sort of ended. Hercules stinks, but new is new and i'm here for it. BBB overpowers him and does carthwheels to show off, and Hercules is at a complete loss at how to deal with him. Bammer drops him with some looping hooks and thows him around with ease, and it's a wild display of power to do it against a guy as big as Herc. He finally misses a splash into the corner and gets dropped by Herc with a running shoulderblock. Fine control seg from Hercules as he keeps simple and basic, and Bammer rocks at punch drunk wobbly selling and massive face plants when he gets hit and falls right down. Bammer catches him running at him and hot shots him and hits the Slingshot Splash right away to win.
**

In the back, Rude says Jake is going to pay for all he's done to him, and he's a loser like everyone is Boston. Jake snapped because he knew his woman wanted him. He blows a kiss to end it.

Match#4 Rick Rude vs Jake Roberts
Jake jumps him as he's taking his robe off and goes on another wonderful flurry of angry offence beating this bastard pillar to post with all he's got. Rude runs for it the moment he gets free and uses Damien to once again distract Jake to take over with punches to the head and neck. He works a sleeper for a while in a super tight one, and it's good but i wanted more from what should be a blood feud. He does let go and beat him up with more brawling and hard shots, but i wish it was longer in spite of how good it is. Jake fights back and whips his ass again in awesome form, and Rude shows off his ever increasing killer selling and bumping. They fight on the outside and it goes to a double counout in a lame call.
**

Post match, they fight until Jake gets Damien out and scares him off.

Match#5 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Andre The Giant
Andre stalls for FIVE minutes in one of the funniest things i've ever seen. He refuses to get in and argues with everyone he can find, and calls Duggan and idiot while looking angry and confused as to why he's being forced to fight him. It's like the 2x4 shot broke his brain and he's forgotten why this is a thing, and that might be the best part. Duggan joins in and swings his board at the refs ass and marches around with a big dumb smile. Andre finally gets in and gets laraited into the ropes and is stuck there so Hack can kick him and beat him up. Andre gets free and squashes him into the corner and beats his ass with amazing clubs and knees, and Hack is sent flying all over the place as Andre gets more brutal as it goes on. Hack tries to fight back but Andre catches him with a boot to knock him out and pins him with his foot on the ropes to win.
PRO WRESTLING

In the back, Demo promise to make everyone suffer because Fuji has demanded it.

Match#6 Strike Force & The Ultimate Warrior vs Demolition & Mr Fuji
Fuji tries to fight and gets killed like a complete fool out of his element, and it's incredible watching the fella kill him. Warrior gets in and fights and does very well as Demo guide him through it with hard and great looking strikes, which in turn get Warrior to throw good looking ones back to his credit; Demo beat him down with the double teaming and throw him around for a bit. It breaks down and Warrior hits a truly bad looking lariat to knock Fuji out, and the old man is taken to the back to make it 3-2 with the faces being in control in a dumb call. Demo now fight from underneath and beat the shit out of Tito like real heroes, and they have to keep tagging out to fight 3 men. They beat him down with the clubs and sledges, and it all rocks as always because this is the best in ring feud next to Savage/Ted. Martel tags in and sets them ablaze wirh another tremendous hot. Things break down and Warrior pins Ax with a top rope axe handle of all things.

WWF Intercontinental Champion: Honky Tonk Man-13/6/87
WWF Tag Team Champions: Demolition-27/3/88

WWF Wrestling Challenge
June 5th, 1988
Rochester, MN

Match#1 Koko B Ware vs Rick Renslow

Koko gets nearly 4 minutes to play with in a great choice for that, but a bad one as Rick is a shitty jobber and not a Barry or Lombardi that would make this amazing on their end. Instead, it's mostly bad stomping and lame jobber offence, and Koko can only do so much. Koko wins with the Ghostbuster.
*1/2

WWF Special Report-
-Sean covers Sherri's run as the women's champion which is hasn't been spoken about in two years.
-They go to an interview with Sherri on the stage calling out the other ladies so she can prove she's the best of the bunch.

Match#2 Danny Davis w/Jimmy Hart vs Brady Boone
Oh, please go away. He gets 3 minutes as this one of THOSE episodes where i must be punished for doing this project. His offence is beyond lame and boring as he's got no idea how to fill time, and he just stinks the place up. He wins with his bad looking flying Tremors off the top rope.
POOP

Jimmy gets the mic and introduces HTM for the next match.

Match#3 Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs J.T Thomas
Bobby makes me feel better by the saying the jobber is the night man at the gym where he sweeps up. HTM puts on another very fun squash as gives the kid a little and bumps around like a fool, and then comes back and beats the tar out of him for it. Simple and easy as all squashes should be. Honky wins with the SRR.
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-Hercules says the same crap he always says about Warrior.
-I swear i'm not being lazy as i want to cover everything, but brother has said nothing new for weeks and weeks.

Match#4 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Chris Curtis
Short one for Hack at about 80 seconds, but still better than most of the other crap on this show tonight. Also, helps he hits very hard, but you get my point. He wins with the 3 Point Stance.
*

WWF Events Center-
-Ted screams everyone has a price and he will find Savage's because he has something that means more to him than MONEY. He wants and will get the title as it gives him power, and it won't be denied this time.
-Randy says Ted is being tested as he's the teacher and he's watching him for every second. He's going to turn him upside down and make him pay for what he did. YEAH.
-Rude says Jake can't blame his old lady for wanting him, but he blames that floozy for living with a low down scumbag like him. He's going to treat him like a snake.

Match#5 Ken Patera vs Barry Horowitz
Crappy Ken squash as he's lazy now and only working the neck with lame work and not power stuff, so it's even worse than normal. Full Nelson ends it.
3/4*

Stage Interview-
-Hammer and Jimmy are the guests.
-Jimmy says Greg has a severe leg injury and that's why he has the guard on. Greg says he's never in his life as he used a foreign object to win a match as he does it with a the Figure Four. It's there to help his injury.
-Craig keeps pestering him, so Hammer says he'll take it off and put the figure four on him to put him out of wrestling for good.
-Hammer says this his road to the gold.

Match#6 Don Muraco vs Larry Simpson
This show is test and then some. Boring and very dull as Don is done as i've said, and you can truly tell by how lazy he's gotten as of late. He wins with the Tombstone.
1/2*

Match#7 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Tim Yates & John Yates.

Fucking A. Demo smash the complete life out of these dork for 2 minutes in another tremendous squash as they're brutal and sicker than hell. They smash the fuck out of them SO bad that you can see the welts forming on their bodies. HOLY SHIT. They hit the Decapitation to win.
**1/2

WWF Events Center-
-News says where he comes from a man as pretty as Bret Hart wouldn't last long at all. He's got a price to pay for what he did, and he's going to take it out on him inch by inch.
-Bret says he's going to bust him up REAL bad.
-The Roueagu's again say they are nothing like Dino as they love America.

Another minute long Hack squash in a bullshit call. Andre has a cut in saying he's going to retire him. Hack wins with the 3 Point Stance.
3/4*

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes covers Hammer's shin guard.
-They show a ton of matches with Hammer using it to win.
-Hammer and Jimmy repeat their Challenge promo.

Match#2 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Young Stallions
Demo get in control right away as Jesse says that's just the way it always is with them as no one has gotten the upper hand on them. YS fight back with some cool basics and hold their own working on arms and throwing dropkicks, but Demo double team them and beat the shit out of Powers with sledges in the corner to take over. They beat him black and blue in another killer one, and he takes some wild, wild shots and dies on everything. SF have a cut in saying they're keeping a close eye on this match, so watch out. Demo show off wrestling skills by holding Powers down by his legs and tagging in and out as they do it to show they're more than simple monsters. Powers finally gets free and gets Roma in for a fun hot tag of more well done basics, and big Demo bumps for them. He nearly pulls it off with a sunset flip, but Ax saves at the last second. Demo get Fuji's can, but SF run out and attack them for the DQ.
**1/4

Martel gets the cane and swings it at them to keep them at bay.

WWF Events Center-
-Sean is hosting to make his Superstars debut!
-He runs down the Boston card and mentions a team called "Midnight Rockers" teaming with Sam Houston. OH SHIT
-Jake says just because he smiles doesn't make him happy. Babies are born without knowing how to murder, steal and cheat as we teach it those things. Each day we chop a nerve off and he's gotten all of them chopped except for the one he lives for. The only thing good enough for him is human sacrifice, yours.
-Ted says Elizabeth must be a good luck charm because he keeps walking away the champion every time they meet. This time he's getting foreclosed on as that title is coming to him, so take that to the bank.

Koko and Frankie enjoy the ice cream bars.

Match#3 Koko B Ware vs Rick Gatner
Jesse does a PSA to the kids to not do the moves they see on TV because they will get hurt. Jesse rules so much. Much better squash for Koko as this one is two minutes and he does a bunch of cool shit and kills the kid as best he can. He wins with the Ghostbuster.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Sean hypes up a card for tonight that's not taped, sadly.

Match#4 Hercules w/Bobby Heenan vs Chris Bassett
Another stinky one for Herc. Just wish he'd go away asap, but life ain't fair. He wins with his bad Rack.
Burnt Toast

Stage Interview-
-Jake Roberts is the guest this week.
-Jake says lots of people are making remarks to him, and Rude and Bobby can get in his face and say something. Anger is a dangerous thing and hatred will drive you insane. He lives and loves what he stands up for, and he brings his wife out as he says it's what gets him going.
-She says she slapped him because he's not enough man for her or Jake. She says she sleeps, eats and lives with him and she knows him and his moves, and she pities Rude. Jake wraps Damien around her.

Match#5 Ron Bass vs. Louie Spicolli
FUCK YEAH LOUIE. Love him so damn much as he's just one of those super underrated guys who deserved far better than his fate would tragically allow. He gets his ass handed to him and takes some wild bumps for Bass, and eats the Pedigree to lose.
*3/4

Post match, Bass hangs him with Betsy.

Match#6 Ken Patera vs Larry Simpson
More bad stuff for Ken as he's just a part of a bygone era that needs to be taken out for the young guns to take his place. He wins with his Full Nelson.
1/4*

Match#7 The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers & Sam Houston vs Danny Davis, Chris Curtis, & Pete Sanchez

Nice to see Davis on the side he belongs on, the fucking bum. He and Sam fight and it's bad as always, but the Brothers are here and carry the load. They have a cut in talking about how much they love America, and refuse to let Sam talk, but say they're taking him under their win, and he's really confused. The Brothers use those body kicks again and do sweet double teams, and it's great. They refuse to tag Sam in as they want to do it on their own, and they kill a jobber with the Doomsday Lariat.
**

Post match, they pick Sanchez up and kill him with the assisted seated senton, and Sam is even more confused.

WWF Events Center-
-Randy says he's tasted the dirty money AND HE SPAT IT OUT YEAH AND I'M SPITTING ON YOPU. HE WILL NEVER TOUCH THE FIRST LADY AGAIN, AND NEVER TOUCH HIS GOLD. JUST LIKE HIS BODYGUARD IS UGLY HE WILL BE OVER HIM LIKE MELTED BUTTER. HE'S GOING TO TAKE HIM OUT AND LEAVE DOWN THAT ASILE. YEAH FREAK OUT.

Match#1 Brutus Beefcake vs Pete Sanchez

Terrible 2 minutes from Brutus as his offence has somehow gotten even lazier and weak looking, so fuck this clown even more than normal. Brutus wins with the sleeper.
Snot

Post match, he cuts the hair like a jerk.

WWF Special Report-
-Sean attends a live event and speaks to some fans.

Match#2 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Brady Boone
Ted gets 3 minutes this week in a nice change of pace. He gets his ass kicked and bumps and runs away from the kid, but then comes back and boots and punches the hell out of him in a truly mean squash. Ted has a cut in saying Virgil will do whatever he tells him to do at the snap at a finger. Ted ramps up the action with a great powerslam and big shots before winning with the MDD.

Match#4 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs Louie Spicolli
Short one this week for Hammer, but still a cool mauling by the old grumpy bastard. Heenan says next week he's going to introduce a man who has given him guidance and will show people how to live their lives, that man is Brother Love!!!! Hammer smashes the leg and wins with the assisted Figure Four.
*3/4

Match#5 Strike Force vs Terry Gibbs & Steve Lombardi
Hell yeah a sick 3 minutes for the boys in another fantastic squash as they've never missed, and they never will. Tons and tons of speed based offence and cool double teams. Martel gets a lot of time this week and smokes Lombardi with wicked shots and then feeds him to Tito's Forearm to get the win.
**

Stage Interview-
-Bad News is the guest.
-He refuses to answer any questions and finally calls Craig a pansy and threatens to slap him if he ever touches him. He won the battle royal because he's from the streets and all those men were old hats to him.

TONIGHT; THE BIG BOSS MAN DEBUTS. THE ROCKERS ALSO DEBUT. BRET HART IN SINGLES ACTION. HOLY FUCKING SHIT YES.

Match#1 The British Bulldogs vsTerry Gibbs & Barry Horowitz
Another fun one man show with Davey looking like a world beater, and DK being along for the ride with the occasional cool looking move or sick snap on something in between being mostly cooked. The Rougeau's have a cut in saying if they have the honor of facing the Dogs they know the fans will be behind them, and Jaques says they can't lose with the fans behind them. Oh man, that would rule. The Dogs win with the Rocket Launcher.
**

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes says Demolition have created havoc since they got here, and now Rick Martel has a concussion as a result of facing them.
-Also, Harley Race is badly injured after facing Hulk Hogan.
-They show clips from SNME where he got injured by smashing into the table, and required surgery.
-Bobby has the crown and robe and says he's in search of a new king after Race has abdicated. He needed 12 hours of surgery and will never be the same. He's now in search of a new king. He nearly cries as he does this in another incredible moment from the GOAT.

Match#2 The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Louie Spicolli
Wooooo, i love Boss Man so much as he's an all time great big man who beats the fuck out of people, and has one of the funnest runs ever. He starts off with a SICK boot to Louie's face and beats him black and blue. Slick has a cut in saying it's time for hard labour. He throws poor Louie all over and gives him hard labour and then some, and then wins his amazing Boss Man Slam.
**

Post match, he cuffs Louie to the ropes and beats him with the nightstick over and over.

WWF Events Center-
-Ted says the pressure and strain of being WWF champion has begun to show on Savage. He doesn't want to climb back in there with him, and he's been patient enough. He has tasted his wealth and beaten him from pillar to post, and it's time to collect.
-Greg & Jimmy say this is going to be there banner year and they will beat up Muraco as he's the best IC champion ever. He will feel the Hammer come crashing down.

Lombardi enjoys the ice cream bar.

Bret comes out for his squash and sees that Jimmy has followed him down, and he kicks him out. Jimmy refuses to leave, but Anvil screams at him and makes him run for it.

Match#3 Bret Hart w/Jim Neidhart vs Jerry Allen
Bret gets 3 minutes to work and beats Allen with the ever improving uppercuts, hard shots and fantastic mat work. He reigns down gross elbows to the head and just messes him up as well as he can. He wins with his Piledriver.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Sean hypes up the Boston Card on the 9th of July-
-Slick says he's wearing red to pay homage to his Russians going against the bull frogs (Bulldogs) they'll beat them.
-The Dogs say they might be smaller but they can do much better moves and win.
-Jake says Rude isn't having any fun with him, but he is. He's going to take him out anyway he can.

Match#4 Bam Bam Bigelow w/Oliver Humperdink vs Tom Stone
Jesse says it matters that Dink is ugly because he has to look at him. A super fun 90 seconds for Bammer to crack this kid with headbutts and all his wonderful fat man offence. Bammer wins with the Slingshot Splash.
*3/4

Stage Interview-
-Rick Rude & Bobby are the guests.
-Rude takes his robe off and says Jake stopped his old lady from getting the thrill of the lifetime, but he knows she dreams of him every night.
-Bobby brings on a lady for Rude to kiss.

george-steele-pose-with-mine-xhieq9iy26rxfaea.jpg

Steele now has a puppet named MINE.

Match#5 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs Ricky Ataki
Greg murders the kid for 90 seconds as he gets short changed, but doesn't let it stop him from fucking someone up in classic form. He has a cut in saying he's injured and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. Hammer wins with the assisted Figure Four.
*3/4

Post match, he puts it back on to further cripple the kid as Jimmy dances around and laughs. Referees try to stop him but he won't leg, so Muraco comes down and drops an elbow on Hammer and beats him out of the ring. Don gets in Jimmy's face, and Hart spits on him so Don gives chase. Hammer gets back and attacks SBG in the ring with elbow after elbow. He knocks the ref out when he tries to stop him AND HE TURNS THE SHIN GUARD AROUND AND PUTS SBG IN THE FIGURE FOUR AND BREAKS HIS LEG. FUCKING YES KILL HIM. THE OLD MAN SCREAMS IN PAIN!!!! Don runs back down and chases Hammer off, and checks on SBG. Billy is crippled and needs to be taken out on a stretcher, AND THEY DROP HIM IN THE ASILE WAY SO DON HAS TO HELP STEADY HIM. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH.

Match#6 The Rockers vs Mike Sharpe & The Intruder
They come out in cut offs and sunglasses and look cool as hell. They have a cut in saying they've been told no one can beat demolition, well they love to do what they're told not to and they're coming. They break out the speed righty away and do awesome double teams like dropkicking each other to knock a man down, and just smoke them in incredible ways as they're already a tremendous team. Marty has some fancy arm work, and Shawn hits a slingshot splash to crush it in a cool moment. They kill them some more and Shawn hits a Flying Fist-Drop from halfway across the ring and then hip-tosses Marty onto the jobber to win. Holy shit, i love them.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Rude says Jake is a worm as he jumped him from behind, but it didn't matter as he had him beaten. He had mercy and it cost him, and next time there's no jumping.
-Randy says the stress is nothing because he has heart. He spat out the dirty money and he spat on him, and he will never touch Elizabeth and never touch the world title. THE EYES OF THE MADNESS ARE ON YOU WALL TO WALL. THIS BIG HEART WILL BE ON YOU AND TEACH YOU A LESSON MACHO MAN STYLE.

Tremendous episode.

WWF Wrestling Challenge
June 19th, 1988

Match#1 The Ultimate Warrior vs Barry Horowitz

Standard squash of Barry from the big guy as he's maybe done this 100 times at this point, and it works because it's an all timer being hurled around and dying every second he gets cracked with something. Warrior wins with his Combo.
*1/2

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes covers the feud between Demo and Strike Force.
-Hayes says Martel has a severe concussion and we learn more later.
-He then covers JYD/Bass,

Match#2 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Lanny Poffo
Pofo reads one of his poems and upsets Rude, so he gets murdered for it for 2 minutes in a great Rude squash as a result. He throws him around and plasters the little shit with hard shots, and then wins with the RA.
**

Post match, he kisses another lady.

WWF Events Center-
-Bammer says nothing new about OMG.

Match#3 The Rockers vs Steve Lombardi & Dave Wagner
Hell yeah, man. They have a cut in talking about getting ready to rock and roll and party. Well, Shawn would never do such a thing. This rules again as they destroy the jobbers arms with sick double teams and move at 100 miles an hour as they throw dropkicks and big bombs to send them all over. They win with a suplex/crossbody combo.
**

Match#4 Mike Sharpe vs Ken Patera
More smelly farts from Ken as he's getting worse and worse, and i just need him gone for good. Full Nelson does it.
1/3*

We go to the stage where Bobby introduces a man who has helped him out and a man who will help everyone out there. He brings on Brother Love in his amazing suit and bright red face, and they hug and shake hands. He thanks Bobby from the bottom of his heart and calls him "Brother Brain" and thanks him for letting him bring this message of love. He wants us to remember that he LOVES US. He keeps saying it and the screen freezes on his smiling face.

Match#5 One Man Gang w/Slick vs Louie Spicoll
OMG kills our little fella with some fat man offence and sweet looking clubs and knees. Just a fun, fun time. He wins with the Gordbuster.
*3/4

Match#5 George Steele w/Mine vs Randy Neverman

The puppet is very cute and might be a better wrestler than Steele, but we'll never get to find out. Steele does things and wins with the Hammerlock like it's 1980, or something.
1/4*

Bobby shows footage of Race getting injured to prove to Gorilla that it's the truth.

Match#6 The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers vs SD Jones & Brady Boone
The brothers get 4 minutes in another bad call as the jobber suck a ton, so they can only be so amazing against them. Like, SD has never been good, but he's even older and crappier now, so fuck him for being here. Jaques wins with a running splash.

Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs The Powers of Pain w/Tito Santana (21/6)
Another dark match has found it's way into my life, and it's the start of a major feud, so i'm more than here for it. Tito is out there because Martel is injured, so he went and got Barbarian and Warlord to fight the monsters for him. I won't spoil the reason, but it will all make sense soon. POP rush the ring and club and punch the life out of them, and it's rad as hell and my jam because who doesn't love stuff like this. Also, Warlord might be the widest human ever as his traps have traps. HE THROWS AX INTO THE CORNER AND DROPS HIM WITH A SUPER HARD LARIAT. HOLY SHIT. Demo actually take a breather in the corner to plan their next move, and it's a damn sight to see them do it, but i'm glad they saved for such a story. Smash tries his had and gets his face taken off by a nasty boot from Barb, and all breaks lose as they fight and smash the shit out of each other. Fuji gets on the apron and is knocked on his ass, and he gets back up and makes Demo leave and take the countout loss before any more damage can be inflicted onto his men.

Match#1 Jake Roberts vs The Conquistador

Vince and Jesse banter about the bag with them Damien in it as Jesse says Jake's old lady should be in there, and Vince says Jesse belongs in there and Jesse quickly bites and says yeah with Jake's wife. Oh, good stuff from Jake as always as he's doing angry man offence to sell the deal, and it works because Jake rules. Jake wins with the DDT.
*3/4

Post match, Damien comes out to play.

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes covers the attack on SBG.
-SBG is badly injured, and has been advised to retire from managing Muraco.
-Sadly, he's going to continue commentating.

Match#2 One Man Gang w/Slick vs Martin Oliver
OMG jumps the kid and batters him in another killer squash for the big fella. Dude just has a wonderful routine down pact and it never fails as long as he gets time, and this does that. OMG wins with the Gordbuster now dubbed the 747.
**

Match#3 The Ultimate Warrior vs Larry Simpson
Warrior makes a super fast intro as he's slowly becoming Warrior. He hurls the kid around and beats the shit out of him with fun sloppy power moves and good chops, and it's one of his better outings as of late. He wins with the Combo.
*1/2

WWF Events Center-
-Sean runs down the next Boston card.
-Rude says Jake will never know happiness as he can't take him down. He's going to put him a neck brace and his old lady wants him, so just admit he can't deal with him. He's going to make everyone admit it when he's finished.
-Randy says the first lady is more important than Ted in every way. Macho Madness is coming to town and the eyes are on him and he's not letting him out. YEAH

Match#4 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Lanny Poffo
Ted beats the holy hell out of this dork with his fantastic punches and roughhousing for 2 minutes as he puts on another great squash in a year full of them. TED PICKS HIM UP AND HIP TOSSES HIM ON THE ASLIE WAY FLOOR. HOLY SHIT. Ted brings him back in and fucks him up even more and wins with the MDD.
**

Post match, he shoves money down Lanny's throat.

WWF Events Center-
-Jimmy says Hammer is on the way to gold so don't get in his way. Greg says they attacked him and Jimmy from behind, and he's going to smash the rock with his hammer and feels the heartbreaker.
-Don is sad because they cost him his friend and Greg doesn't have any of those. SBG has been to the top and deserves respect, and time is over for Greg.
-The Bulldogs cut an awful, awful promo where they say they'll do more better moves and beat the Russians in 20 minutes.

Big Boss Man slams a prison door and says welcome to his house where they live by his rules.

Match#5 Koko B Ware vs Steve Lombardi
Hell yeah, sick two minutes for the birdman as he shows off with dropkicks, arm drags and a bunch of big moves done as fast and smoothly as possible. He hits a stunning top rope dropkick and wins with a brutal looking Ghostbuster.
**

Stage Interview-
-The Heenan Family are the guests this week.
-Bobby cuts Craig off and says Race is missing as he's sustained a very serious injury at the hands of Hogan (don't like they're giving him the credit when he's not here, and not coming back for another two months). Bobby says Race didn't get a single letter or card from Hogan to show remorse for what he did to him.
-Race has given up the crown and robe, and now Bobby is conducting a search for the next king of the WWF.
-Bobby asks for a ten bell salute and they get it but the fans boo, and Bobby snaps at them for disrespecting a man who has done SO much for them.

Match#6 The Rockers vs Mark Ming & Barry Horowitz
The boys get 2 minutes to do their thing, and it's another great one as they're doing things at a breakneck speed with double teams and great basics from both. Shawn dropkicks Barry in the back of the head to send him into a powerslam from Marty, and they break out a double springboard suplex! Shawn suplexes Marty down onto Ming to win.
**

Match#7 Bad News Brown vs Tony Leone
News does his thing for two minutes as this is another all timer of an episode, and News finishes it out by beating the complete snot out of this poor kid. News wins with the Blaster.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Ted says he will not be denied as he always gets what he wants and he WANTS that belt. Randy knows it belongs to him and there will be no guardian angel to pull him out this time.
-Jake says he's a hungry man and he wants more from Rude this time. Jake says Rude is fighting for his life, but he's fighting for his right to walk the street with his head held high. He's always made his wife happy, and this time he's making himself happy.

Next week. The Rougeau Brothers vs Killer Bees-
-The Brothers says the bees wear masks and cheat, so this time they're going to pull something out themselves.
-The Bees are wearing the masks and cut a dorky promo about showing them they're the best.

WWF Madison Square Garden-25/6

Match#1 The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers vs The Conquistadors
The Brothers get 11 minutes to work with two heel jobbers despite themselves being in the midst of a heel turn themselves. It's an odd choice, but it does lead to the brothers begging the fans for cheers whenever they do something cool to start, and it's very funny to watch. They work the leg and ankle and do fancy and mean shit to it, but one of the masked guys pulls the rope down when Jaques backs up too far and he falls out and splats on the ground. They throw him back and beat the crap out of him in a fine control seg with Jaques' selling and fighting from underneath carrying it nicely. SBG starts talking smack about the brothers not being sincere about their love of America, and he's clearly a jerk. Ray gets the hot tag and beats them both senseless with ease, and then the Brothers win with the Doomsday Senton.
**

Match#2 One Man Gang vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Hell yeah, lets go full Mid South in the Garden. Hacksaw smacks the spit out of his mouth with a series of fantastic looking punches, and OMG's wobbly selling is so good. HACK SMASHES OMG RIGHT IN THE THROAT WITH A LARIAT AND BENDS HIM BACKWARDS AS HE FALLS INTO A HEAP ON THE MAT. GODDAMN.Hack stays on him smacking the life out of him, and Gang's selling is even better now as he's all messed up and hurt. Gang manages to throw him into the buckles and claws at his eyes to take over, and he beat him down with the fat man offence. He grabs an arm and does some mean work on it punching the shoulder and arm itself and really going to town on it, and Hack sells it really well as he's holding it and screaming in pain as OMG beat him worse and worse. Duggan slowly and bravely fights back against him and manages to dodge him as he launches himself into the corner, and Hack throws a Hail Mary 3 Point Stance to pull the win out.
**3/4

In the back, Lord Hayes interviews some wrestlers-
-The Brothers walk on with their amazing small flags and say after all their hard work the fan now love them just as much as they love them. Hayes says he doesn't think it's true, and the Brothers ignore him and say they won fair and square and will sleep very well now. Jaques throws a shoutout to his sister and her baby about to be born.
-Warrior talks about tiny drinkers and other insane things that make zero sense, so he just ends up grunting and yelling a lot as Hayes finally cuts him off.

Match#3 Andre The Giant w/Bobby Heenan vs Bam Bam Bigelow
This is BBB's last match, and from what i can gather Andre hated him because he felt he would maybe take his place, so he used this to beat the fuck out of him. He wastes no times as he rushes him against the ropes and chokes him with his singlet and covers his entire face as he smothers him with a sleeper. Andre chops and punches the hell out of him, and gives BBB nothing but a massive ass kicking. ANDRE HITS HIM WITH TREMORS AND DROPS HIS ASS ON HIM 4 TIMES AS HARD AS HE CAN. HOLY SHIT. He breaks out the nasty headbutts to the back of the head as well. BBB finally gets to duck a boot and pushes Andre into the ropes to tie him there, and swings him back and forth, but Andre kicks him and grabs a bearhug that covers BBB's chest as Andre is on his knees as he does it in another true freak of nature moment. He crushes him for a while and then kicks him in the face and crushes him with an elbow to win a wonderful squash.
**1/2

Post match, Andre beats him some more until Hacksaw runs down with the board and crack him across the back and runs him off. Duggan gets the mic and says a man has to do what a man has to do. He HOOOOOO'S and challenges him to a one on one match next time they're in the Garden.

Match#4 Bobby Heenan vs The Ultimate Warrior ( Weasel Suit Match)
This is the start of a series of match where poor Bobby is thrown around on his badly injured neck by this sloppy goofball, and ends up getting injured even worse and will require surgery in 94 when WCW helps him out. It's 4 minutes of Warrior chasing and killing him, and Bobby's amazing bumps and sells are all that makes this work. Warrior wins with a sleeper of all things.
*1/2

Post match, Warrior puts him in the suit as MSG cheers like rabid animals.

As the cage is being set up, Fink runs down the next MSG card.
-The Rockers vs The Rougeau's. MY GOD
-POP vs The Russians.
-Muraco vs Valentine
-Andre vs Hacksaw in a Lumberjack Match.

In the back, Hayes hypes up the main event as the most dangerous match a man could be in.
-Ted walks on and says his patience as worn out and Randy doesn't want to be in the cage with him when he's like this. He doesn't need to pin or submit him, all he needs to do is walk out. The lovely Elizabeth will be out there with Virgil, and every time he stops to look and make sure she's safe, he's going to nail him. It's time to collect what he's been waiting for long enough, the WWF World Title.

Match#5 Randy Savage (c) w/Miss Elizabeth vs Ted DiBiase w/Virgil (WWF World Heavyweight Championship-Steel Cage)
Ted jumps Savage as he's getting in and it turns into a wild, wild back and forth as they punch, chop and claw the life out of each other as the hate has completely boiled over to another level. Really incredible shots from both as they fight on their knees at point and just smack each other. Ted tries to climb, but Randy drags him down and slams his face off the buckles a dozen times, and Ted fires back with an uppercut to the throat and takes over with a brutal beating that doesn't even involve using the cage yet. Randy has to fight through to cut him off when he tries to climb again, and he stands on the top rope and throws him down to the mat, but Ted won't fucking die and throws more shots back at Randy to keep a semblance of control. Randy is finally able to pull him down again by the tights and then the hair and hangs him upside down and kicks him in the face!! He tries to climb, but Virgil punches him through the cage to send him flying to the mat. Randy is dead, but he reverses Ted trying to throw him into the steel, and he makes Ted kiss it first it. Virgil again cuts Savage off to keep Ted in it, and the Garden is getting more and more intense and angry as does it. Ted throws body blows to double him over in pain and chucks him off the top rope, and we get a shot of Vlad the superfan cheering him on in the crowd!! They fight some more and knock each other down and try to crawl to the door and they have a great desperate fight over it, and Ted is once again a little faster and is able to drag him back to stop him. They knock each down again and climb up opposite sided, and Vigil stops Randy agaun and knocks him down legs first into the ropes for a nasty spill. Ted climb down and fights him, but Randy hits a Suplex and then atomic drops him to send him face first in to the cage! He goes to crawl out again and nearly gets there, BUT FUCKING VIRGIL SENDS THE DOOR BACK INTO HIS FACE. SON OF A BITCH. Randy s seemingly dead, and Ted crawls over his body and goes to get out, BUT RANDY COMES BACK TO LIFE AND GRABS HIS TIGHTS AS TED HOLDS ONTO THE STEPS TRYING TO GET OUT, BUT RANDY IS ABLE TO USE THE LAST OF HIS STRENGTH TO DRAG HIM BACK IN, AND THEY PUNCH THE FUCK OUT OF EACH OTHER AND RANDY GOES NUTS AND THROWS HIM INTO THE CAGE AND CLIMBS TO THE TOP, BUT VIRGIL CUTS HIM OFF AGAIN. A FAN CLIMBS UP TO HELP RANDY, BUT VIRGIL KICKS HIM DOWN. RANDY GRABS TED AND VIRGIL'S HEADS AND SMACKS THEM TOGETHER TO KNOCK THEM BOTH OUT COLD AND HE CLIMBS OUT TO WIN. OH YEAH DIG IT.
****

The Garden erupts as Randy grabs his title and his first lady and walks out in victory in another beautiful moment. Back in the ring, Ted wakes up and flips out as he's lost again, and the crowd boos him until he walks out.

WWF Wrestling Challenge
June 26th, 1988
Fresno, CA

Match#1 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Lanny Poffo & Jerry Allen

Demo get three minutes to club and smash these dorks, and it's once again the best squash the WWF can give us as these men are just on a different level of brutal and incredible as hell. They throw them to the outside and beat their asses there for something new, and then take Allen's stupid face off to win.
**

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes covers the issues between The Hart Foundation and Jimmy Hart.
-Jimmy says he has contracts with them and they can talk this over, or they can call him collect so they can work this out.

Match#2 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs Frank Valdez
90 awful seconds for Bravo as this push is never going away until he finally gets de-pushed in a couple of years. Bravo does his normal bad squash and wins with the Sidewalk Slam.
1/4*

Match#3 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Stymie Richards

HOOOOO. Hack is all fired up as he mounts the big jobber in the corner and punches the snot out of him, and then gives the kid a little before he beats him even worse with his wonderful punches. Hacksaw hits a gross 3 Point Stance right to the big guys forehead to win.
**

WWF Events Center-
-HTM says he can't be beaten by anyone so line up so he can knock em down. He's going to shake, rattle and roll Brutus as he's sick of messing with him.
-Warrior has come here to make a mark from another dimension so he can have combat with others and he won't let anyone down. He's give it back twice as hard as he breached the force field and the Warrior will bring it to ya.

Match#4 The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Mark Ming
Gorilla wonders where Slick met him, and Bobby says through mutual friends. Boss Man beats the daylights out of this criminal to show him law and order as that's what the WWF has been missing as of late. Tons of hard and loud shots to the kid, and he looks great as a squash guy. He wins with the Boss Man Slam in about 90 seconds.
*3/4

Post match, he cuffs Ming to the ropes and beats him with the Nightstick.

WWF Events Center-
-Slick says OMG is making everyone shake in fear as he loves dishing out pain. He's left Bam Bam black and blue and begging for it to stop.
-Jake says Rude needs to keep his nose out of his business to keep his nose. Rude wanted to have fun, but he's going to have no fun with him as he's going wipe the smile off his face. His bed is hard to sleep in and he's going to get him.

Match#5 The British Bulldogs vs Steve Lombardi & Barry Horowitz
The Rougea's have a cut in saying the dogs are a fine team but they're better. They should leave the dog at home as not to distract them from any upcoming matches with them. Standard Dogs squash as it's not changing as Davey gets better and DK gets a little more cooked and worse as the weeks go on. The Dogs win with the Rocket Launcher.
*3/4

Brother Love Show-
-Brother thanks us very much and says he left us with a message of L O V E. He is sincere when he says it, but until now he didn't know if he could continue to bring this message of love. The very thought of being denied that message of his heart was simply overwhelming for him, but we can all rejoice for one man's love for us. His love has provided him with the resources to be here every week and bring the vestige of love. His benefactor is none other than Ted DiBiase.
-Ted & Virgl come out to the stage as Ted says he's been telling the fans every week since he got here that every man has a price for him hahahahahahaha.
-Love says Ted loves you, and he loves you, and we all love each and everyone of you. He hugs them both as he says he loves us.
-This is so good.

They show footage of Hammer's attack on SBG.

Match#6 Bam Bam Bieglow w/Oliver Humperdink vs The Intruder
Bammer gets 2 minutes to do his thing in his last match (maybe) on TV. He beats the masked loser up with his cool fat and strikes, and it's a nice thing to see until he comes back in 92 at the peak of his powers. He wins with the Slingshot splash.

WWF Events Center-
-Ted says he's done it all since he got here, and Randy is the last rock left not turned over. He's alluded him so far, but he's getting that title and will make him history as he ALWAYS gets what he wants.
-The Rougeau Brothers make jokes and wave their flags and thank the crowd for cheering for them. Ray says 99% of the fans love them because they're not confusing them with Dino anymore. Jaques says they're moving to America and they love them.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
July 2nd, 1988
Oakland, CA

Tonight; Rougeau's vs Bees.

Match#1 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Tom Stone
Andre has a cut in with the latest WWF magazine and he rips it to pieces to show what he's going to do to Duggan. Good 90 seconds for Duggan as he does all his fun punches and slams, and it works as always. He wins with another truly brutal looking 3 Point Stance Larait.

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes covers Race's injury once more.
-Bobby is very happy as he says his search has gone all over the world and next week he will crown the new king of the WWF. There will be a new king.

Match#2 George Steele w/Mine vs The Intruder
Yucky. Steele actually hits the jobber quite hard, but he's still a moron and brings everything down by being here in 1988 when he's been done as mattering since 1986. He wins with the Hammerlock.

Match#3 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs Bill Johnson

More lame and terrible stuff from Dino. Ken has a cut in saying he's ready to celebrate the 4th of July and show Dino what America is all about. Awesome, can't wait. Dino wins with his Sidewalk Slam.

WWF Events Center-
=Sean runs down the next Boston card.
-Ted says Randy won't feel macho now that he knows he's looking at the real champion. He's escaped with the title as the WWF is protecting him, and he's taking the title home with him.
-Muraco is very sad that SBG is died and whatnot.

Match#4 The Hart Foundation vs SD Jones & Brady Boone
Oh shit, they're finally back together and getting massive pops now. This is 4 minutes as WWF is doing whatever on this episode and letting things happen, but whatever they rule so it mostly works as they show off how amazing they've gotten during their sabbatical. Bret fakes a knee injury so Anvil can hit SD from behind, and the crowd now loves them for it in a cool moment. Jimmy has a cut in saying HF are his property as it says in the contract, so don't bite the hand that feeds them. Boone goes on a little run before the fellas shut him down and kick the shit out of him for it. HF win with the Hart Attack.

WWF Events Center-
-Randy says everyone wants to jump in and see how hot it is. He's simmering and you can see the cloud smokes when you see him. Who can through and test the champion? He made it to the top at WrestleMania IV, what can you do?

Big Boss Man stands in front of a prison fence and says this makes him right.

Match#5 Don Muraco vs Darryl Nichols
Don is an angry sad boy and puts on an actual good squash for the first time in months as he throws and blasts the kid for 90 seconds. Hammer has a cut in laughing about what he did. Don wins with the Tombstone.

Stage Interview-
-HTM & Jimmy are the guests.
-HTM says there is a conspiracy against him from the WWF and Jack Tunney as they've tried to bar his manager and take away his Girlfriend. But he's still the greatest IC champion of all time, and they won't ever take away his music. He knows the fans want to hear him sing and dance and play his guitar, so he's going to do it to make them happy. Jimmy reminds him his throat is bad, so he's not allowed to. HTM relents and leaves with him.

Match#6 The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers vs The Killer Bees
The Brothers guide Jumping Jim through some early mat work and look fantastic as they do it, and the crowd boos them despite them not being Dino Bravo. Blair gets in ad goes hold for hold with them, and man i wish he had a better partner. Jaques blind tags in and smacks Blair with a forearm to send him right on his face as he eats the mat, and they beat the snot out of him as they get brutal and pissy with him in a great short control seg. Brian manages to get free and gets Jim in there for a nice hot tag as he moves well and throws some cool looking uppercuts in the corner to Jaques, and even a revenge forearm to the back like they did to Blair. He gets him in the sleeper, but Ray blasts him in the head to cut him off. it all breaks down into chaos and Jaques Ax Handles Jim in the back of the head, and Ray rolls on top to win.

Post match, the brothers offer their hands, but the bees are jerks and refuse to shake them and yell at them instead.

Match#7 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Jose Luis Rivera
Rude is now wearing amazing yellow airbrushed tights with a ladies face on them in an all time look from a guy with a few of those. He gets 2 minutes to beat the hell out of JLR and really goes out of his way to drop some gross punches and body blows to him along with the rest of his great offence. He wins with the RA.
**

Post match, he kisses another lady in the crowd.

WWF Events Center-
-Randy says he's like lightning in the sky and if Ted wants to get in the ring with him again, he's going to make sure he never wants to do that again. Yeah, dig it.

Next week. A new King is crowned. Randy Savage is interviewed live.
