I'm a bit behind on TNA, and don't want to do a crazy rant - but I say the latter (regarding Gail's tweet). The funny thing is that even if they're not selling anywhere near 7000 tickets to Slammiversary, it doesn't mean they would be super "small". Judging by Hard to Kill 2024 and what Scott did with MLP, I think the production would've reached a really good level regardless.
We'd still have Hendry going viral + the Hardys returning. I don't have a problem with the NXT crossovers they did last year to capitalise on Hendry, I think a lot of people watched BFG 2024 to see him win. But I think they missed a trick by delaying it. His reign wasn't good either (aside from his feud with Trick).
I think we could have kept either Alexander or Speedball, and Grace implied she would have stayed for another year. I don't know if the MCMG still would've gone to WWE main roster as it's a huge opportunity. Also, the attempt to get Punk/Ospreay was very cool. Even if the chance was like 0.1%, I felt a lot of pride that TNA was trying to be ambitious.
I've been a bit sour the last year or so, because the product isn't that good despite "the exposure" lol. Tessa is here, the weekly show had a lot of lazy booking (tag team main events), how many people have left, the suggestion that TNA is basically a pawn in WWE's war with AEW. Just makes me wonder what would've happened if Anthem didn't rock the boat and let the company keep growing, organically. On the bright side, the post-Slammi episodes have been fun so far (despite The System still existing

) so I hopethat continues at least.
