    Tbh I don't see a time in the short future where the Kremlin and Putin's pals are overthrown by the citizenry and Russia actually returns to a somewhat democratic state again like it was in the mid-90s.

    I think the Earth, while definitely getting fucked by climate change, will come back and heal itself; for however long that takes. It'll keep going on long after we all die.

    I mean as it stands, the middle class is already as close to the lower class as it has been since the 1890s, so I think by "middle class" I mean everyone who isn't a millionaire.

    Honestly if things continue to trend the way they are right now, I think in 70 years' time we'll see a full scale middle class revolt.
